Could use some help Posted: 16 Aug 2021 07:13 AM PDT While playing League of Legends the game became choppy/laggy, then screen blinked off and on, and finally froze for a few seconds. All games after this happened are behaving in a similar fashion... What do y'all think it might be and is it repairable? [link] [comments] |
| Google Play - Apps show "couldn't install" Posted: 16 Aug 2021 03:00 AM PDT Hi I have 1-2 random apps each week show "couldn't install" on Google Play. There aren't any new updates for the apps and I've had them installed for a long time. Never saw this on my older phones. It goes away when I press the "try again" button. What does it mean? | Apps consistently & temporarily lose internet connection when opened Posted: 16 Aug 2021 05:36 AM PDT I have a Galaxy S21 and at some point over the past ~2 months or so, I started having a problem with apps not having data/internet when I open them. If I wait 20+ seconds, they'll usually suddenly connect, usually after a swipe down/refresh. For example, I tap Facebook, it opens, but it's blank posts/unloaded images. Sometimes I get a data not available error, sometimes it just sits there. If I immediately try refreshing, it doesn't work. I have to wait a good while, maybe 20+ seconds, then refresh and it'll usually work. This seems to be a problem with most apps. Amazon Seller won't load my sales, Twitter won't retrieve tweets, Facebook won't load, Instagram won't load, LinkedIn won't load, etc. It feels like something is happening when apps aren't the active app that they lose their internet. It's not WiFi related, as I am not on WiFi but am instead on T-Mobile's 5G with very solid speeds (400+ down, 20+ or whatever up). I've tried removing them from any sleep protocols. I've tried removing them from battery optimizations. I've rebooted. I've reinstalled apps. I've tried it on WiFi as well, same problem. Any help is appreciated. | Location spoofing on Xiaomi redmi note? Posted: 16 Aug 2021 11:42 AM PDT I have the Xiaomi redmi note 10 on the latest firmware. Is there any way to really spoof my location? I've tried two apps, and they spoof the location correctly as far as google maps is concerned, but not when it comes to the apps I want to actually spoof my location with. There used to be an option in settings to get precise location by using wifi, GPS data and everything, and when turned off, the location would spoof correctly, but I don't see this option in settings on this phone (latest firmware). | HELP - undelete .mp3 recording Posted: 16 Aug 2021 11:31 AM PDT How can I restore a deleted audio file from my unrooted Pixel 3 XL? File was: /storage/emulated/0/vrecorder/2021_08_15_13_43_07.mp3 It's a now irreplaceable recording of family stuff. The otherwise very nice Voice Recorder app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=vr.audio.voicerecorder&hl=en_US&gl=US) offers to "share" recordings you've made (the usual Android share interface) - I chose to "share" it via GMail. I saw that the email arrived and deleted the original file. Guess what - the email doesn't contain any attachment, just the original file path. The app is STUPID STUPID STUPID. So am I for not fully checking I had the file in GMail before deleting. Is there a way to get it back? I've been careful not to add anything to the phone since then that might overwrite the recording. I tried USB Developer mode recovery with "DrFone" - it says since I'm not rooted it can't see deleted files. HELP, please. [link] [comments] |

There's no error notification on my end like the usual trouble people are encountering, its just that nothing happens when i try to press Install or Update. im using an LGV20 Android N, my screen is fine and the error only happens inside the playstore and Nord VPN (an app i just installed, from a PC after noticing the playstore issue.) When i use Nord VPN auto function, there will be a prompt that i could click "Ok" but the phone also doesnt register when i press that button. [link] [comments] |

I have my phone connected to my watch and I want to see the message on my watch. Because every time my watch vibrates I see: "(Username) sent you an encrypted message" and then I have to take out my phone and open zoom to see what the message is.. | Posted: 15 Aug 2021 10:47 PM PDT I just got the Asus Zenfone 8 with Android 11 and I am very surprised that in 2021 the wallpaper app will only zoom and crop the image I want to use, instead of allowing me to zoom out and add a black background on the rest of the screen. Social network apps provide similar function to create a story, and there are 3rd party apps made only for reformatting images.So this is technically doable. Why is it that the default app is so basic? Most people want to put custom pictures as their background and usually they aren't at the right format. | Random audio playing of 2 people talking Posted: 16 Aug 2021 08:15 AM PDT I've had this problem since I'm on holiday here in Portugal, when my wifi is on random audio is playing of 2 people talking in what I'm almost sure it is Portugeuse language. It happens almost every 2-3 days. The same is happening to my sisters phone. When I get the audio, second after that my sister gets the same. It doesn't sound like its from a walkie talkie. I bought a cheap ONN Walmart tablet thinking it would be easy to download APK time and load movies onto to take hunting. Low and behold I cannot for the life of me find out how to turn on the developer option to be able to download it. I have a broken F stick and thought it would be close to the same process my buddy from out of state walked me through when visiting. | Issues when reporting a bug in the Android Beta Feedback app in Android Beta 4 Posted: 16 Aug 2021 05:34 AM PDT (I know it's not really the subreddit to ask this, but I posted several posts on r/AndroidBeta without any answers ; I tried too to contact the mods of the r/AndroidBeta subreddit, still without any answers, meaning that r/Google is my only place to ask this) Recently, whenever I try to report a bug on that Android Beta Feedback App, and that I send it, it is accepted and showing me that the report has been uploaded, but around 4-5 hours later, I have a notification (the one that appears in the bottom of the screen) saying "Failed to create report", and when I go check the bug I reported, it has been transformed into a draft, and I see that the bug report have a little "!" in red in a circle on his left, so I do another bug report, send it and still, around 5 hours later it tells me "Failed to create report" even though I successfully send it a few hours before Is there a way to fix this bug? Note : I can see the bugs I reported in https://issuetracker.google.com , but they will never be assigned (the reports will be constantly showed as "New", and never "Assigned") [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 16 Aug 2021 05:07 AM PDT Hello, recently i was repairing my phone Poco F1. I changed display and battery also. The problem started after change. Very weird thing happens. Display is touching by itself after unlocking device. But, then I lock the device and unlocking it again, the phone is no longer touch ghosting. So where is the problem? Is my display damaged? Or its a software issue? I will be gratefull for any help. I thing i didnt do - factory reset (lots of data to recover first, dont have much free time to do that, but I am planning to). I have set up TeamViewer Host for this purpose. However, there is now a warning like this when I try to access it: https://i.stack.imgur.com/0WFno.png This defeats the entire purpose of using Team Viewer as it requires local input on the device in order to access it. If I had local access to the device I would not even need TeamViewer. What can I do about this? The device in question is a Moto G8 Plus running Android 10.
