Any 2d SHMUPS (shoot them up) game that has plenty of upgrades and ways to advance?

    Posted: 23 Aug 2021 06:01 AM PDT

For the past few months, I played "1945 air force" game.

In the beginning it was fine, as I played just the normal levels. Then as it became harder, I've decided to "squeeze" everything possible on the game to gain upgrades (quests, missions, multiplayer, ads,...). The game itself is good and becomes harder as you play, which is fine I guess. It also has some bugs that I had to live with (resets of power-ups, connection issues,...), and sadly "pay to win"-like behavior (some upgrades can only be bought using real money). Still I played.

Eventually the game decided that I got too far in a relatively short time (of course, because I spent about an hour or so on the game, per day), and blocked me for "suspicious" behavior.

Now I can't play it anymore. I tried to contact the developers via email on their Play Store page, but it's an invalid email. When I wrote a review, they wanted me to join Facebook fan's of the game, so of course I won't do it after this happened (also I try to avoid Facebook as much as possible).

Thankfully I didn't pay for it with real money and only spent time on it. Still, quite disappointing.

Are there any good alternatives to this game?

Looking for a tiny gamepad attachment

    Posted: 23 Aug 2021 04:01 AM PDT

    Hey there,

I'm looking for a tiny attachment I can carry around so I can do some 2d retro gaming on the go. It doesn't have to be super comfortable and feature rich, 4 buttons and a dpad is all I need.

I've used the GameGripper in the past, something of that size and feature level would be perfect!

Had a stroll through aliexpress but I could only find huge, massive gamepads.

    Thanks!

I'm looking for an android game.

    Posted: 22 Aug 2021 10:36 PM PDT

It is kinda like angry birds, in which you take control of skulls maybe. And catapult them through levels. Using them as weapons. There is also a multiplayer mode for two players. I can't remember it's name.

    Why i became mobile gamer

    Posted: 22 Aug 2021 11:58 AM PDT

I ve been born 1980 and my first rig was an Atari 2600 , my first pc 40 mhz 4mb ram 240mb hd win3.11 . That was nice back in the days. I remember walkin into the Shop and lookin for a game i should buy and opening the sealed box with all that stuff into it. And that smell. Good times. Then i was goin ps1, ps2 and then left gaming more or less till 2008 or so. I heard from a thing called Internet and got a dual core , 4gb ram , 1 gb graphics card. Saw a dude playin on laptop during nightshift a game called metin 2. Got into and made it to different high end Accounts as years passed by. Got a gaming pc and a steam library which was pleasure to look at. So, i became father of 2 , Sold my Equipment to my brother and was happy when i could do some mobile dungeons in the evenings on the couch. Sold all my metin 2 stuff also and made very good money of it. Never regret. Being daddy is awesome. So, i am playin arcane quest hd, moonshades, raziel, almora darkosen(when cloud is implemented) ,titan quest legendary Edition. That s it . I am missing 2 games called shardlands and space commander. The second was about troups against aliens like managing what kind of troups sending into battle. They gone from german play store. Dunno if they exist elsewhere. For me , 98 % of play Store stuff is kinda crap. But i need that cloud save. I am not that specialist to copy data from here and there in the right folder. Also that laptop handling in the evenings while chillin on the couch is kinda annoying. Thinking about a convertible or stuff. Can u Android community please help me finding really good games ? It s okay to pay a few bucks for them. I Don t like that f2p and ingame store stuff. And maybe how to Upgrade my rig ...to a 2in1 ...chromebook i guess ?? Any answers appreciated . Thanks in advance . Good evening.

    Posted: 22 Aug 2021 09:27 PM PDT

So, I am going to sleep but before I do.

If you could only pick one game to blow someone away with how fun it is, what game would that be?

I have a bunch already but I have 100gbs still to fill.

Good night. Hopefully I have a big list to go through.

Looking for a dice rolling game, asian made

    Posted: 23 Aug 2021 12:46 AM PDT

I'm looking for a game I used to play some years ago.

Basically your character progresses on an adventure map step by step, like you would in monopoly, and can encounters monsters you have to kill.

Combats happen by rolling dices and comparing the highest scores. You can roll 6,10 and 20-sided dices and influence their min-max with out of combat buffs. Some dices also have effects.

I'm saying is asian made because the English translation is faulty or even wrong sometime.

Also the graphics are kinda ugly.

    Best controller supported games?

    Posted: 22 Aug 2021 05:02 PM PDT

Love gaming on the go ..however will never like touch screen controls. They are the cancer of gaming IMO.

What are some of the best controller supported games on Android these days? (bonus If they aren't free pay to win games).
