| Car android HU Bluetooth capabilities Posted: 10 Jul 2021 07:25 AM PDT Hi, I recently bought a Chinese made 'Allwinner T3_p1' brand head unit. I'm okay with overall things expect with Bluetooth capability. I connected my iPhone to HU and started playing music but unless I open a specific Bluetooth music app it won't output the sound. If I close the app, the music stops and no sound. It won't show anything in notifications and no widget related to it! | Google Messages RCS connection issues on mobile Posted: 10 Jul 2021 03:57 AM PDT Until recently I have had no problems with the chat features on Google Messages. After a few messages weren't delievered, I noticed that chat features aren't connecting, but only when I am on mobile data. At home there is no issue. There is also no issue when sending texts. The issue is present on both the stable and beta versions. My phone (Galaxy A20e) recently updated to Android 11. I am wondering if that might have something to do with it. I made sure when i ordered one that it was for my phone and now after i installed it, the phone is charging slowly and not showing it. | Is it possible to change letter layout on keyboard? Posted: 10 Jul 2021 10:26 AM PDT Hi good folks. Gboard is the best keyboard on Android imo. The issue is, the Hebrew keyboard layout is wrong: https://support.swiftkey.com/hc/user_images/c5gt9K4kSUmt4oB_bj0hbQ.png On the left you see Hebrew layout on the Gboard and on the right you see another brand's layout. In the Gboard, both top row and second from top row are aligned, when they are actually supposed to be at a slight offset as seen in the keyboard on the right. I was wondering if it is possible to edit the letter layout somehow. I keep missing that specific letter and it's driving me nuts. Thanks for your attention! [link] [comments] |

I just bought this supercharger from ebay but perhaps not surprisingly, I don't get the supercharge symbol (or even the fast charge symbol). I've tried Ampere and it maxes at 1140mA charging. I'm happy to return the charger but I'm wondering whether it's because the wire is too long, or they've not seny a wire capable of 5A charging, or who knows. In CPU-Z, the processor shows up as Snapdragon 665, although the specs page on moto's website says it's SD662. Moto's website also says there is a 64 MP rear camera and it shows up in camera settings. But on Qualcomm's website the ISP of SD 662/665 supports a Max res of 48MP. I put out a production release 17 days ago, and it's still in review. I've also put out a beta release on July 4th, and that is also still not approved. Mind you, these are just incremental updates. It goes directly to app info, with the uninstall and stop buttons, instead of opening the app. Reinstalling and restarting didn't fix it. I downloaded chrome beta in the meantime, which works. Thats not what this post is. I don't care if its running or not. What I care about is why it sends so many notifications when its not running lying about what will happen if I dont turn it back.
Phone works just fine. I have noticed no difference in my ability to make/receive calls
Messages works just fine. I still receive messages. I still send them. I still get a notification whenever a new message is received
Maps work just fine with google play services stopped. I can load the map. I can browse the map. I can see the traffic on the map. I can use the map to find directions. Nothing about Maps is no longer working in the absence of Google Play services.
Literally on Wi-Fi right now and its working just fine.
Literally watching a youtube video - nothing wrong whatsoever.
Every single App I have on my phone works 100% the same right now as it did before Google Play services stopped running. The only thing that has changed since Google Play stopped is that I now get a notification every 15 seconds that a different App will not work without Google Play services enabled. Thats it. Hundreds of notifications telling me various apps WILL NOT WORK UNLESS YOU ENABLE GOOGLE PLAY... but every single one of those apps works just fine. I dont know what I was doing the other day, but Google Play Services stopped or crashed or something. So I just force stopped it. And this has been the experiment. So my questions:
Honestly I never cared/knew about Google Play services running in the background before. But now that I know they've lied to me so bombastically I'm rather inclined to just find a way to shut off the notifications than to turn it back on. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Jul 2021 06:17 AM PDT Hi, I have an old Samsung galaxy S7 edge, recently the screen has been freezing, then I'd need to hard reboot the phone for it to return to normal. This phone has CFW and is rooted. I decided to reflash a newer CFW but half way through even the recovery froze and I had to reboot again. This used to be maybe every few days it would happen but now, I can't use the phone for more than 15 seconds before it happens. I've also noticed the phone used to get incredibly hot. I recorded a top temp for the CPU at 80 degrees Celsius.. I bought a new phone but I'd like to revive this from the dead. Opening the back shows the battery is somewhat swollen. I wouldn't say hugely swollen, but nevertheless, it sits proud of the compartment where it sits. Could this be the problem? Or does this sound hardware based? Like here's my situation.... I have an app A and an app B.... And here's what I wanna do:- both app A and app B take and provide input and output audio.... I want 1) my input to be input for app A (and app B, this is not mandatory....
