    Samsung Galaxy A12 and A21s same price... which to choose?!

    So as title says they are the same price and I'm having trouble deciding. The A21s looks like it has slightly better performance, and a holepunch front camera. However the ONE THING is that the fingerprint sensor is on the back, instead of how the A12 has it on the side power button. I'm worried that any case I get would just cover up the fingerprint sensor on the back, which I need. Whereas I'm sure I can find a case that doesnt cover up the fingerprint sensor on the side, on the A12. Any suggestions?

    How to completely clone an android phone when it has a broken screen?

    At the gym today, my phone decided to give the treadmill a go - phone flew into wall - phone dead.

    Half the screen works (the top half) so I can do some stuff on it but its very hard.

    I have Google backup set-up but it doesn't pull overall data, such as the audiobooks I have downloaded offline or any videos, it also doesn't keep all my app data logged in etc and when I have 100s of apps this is a PITA to set up again on a new phone.

    Are there any apps that will literally just create a complete copy of my phone onto my new phone, so it will be the same as it was before? Ideally without the need to download an app on my current phone as I can't really do that. Unless I can somehow control my phone by my PC to download the app?

    Any help appreciated!

    Asking the seller is not an option as I look to buy them in none working condition so they can't turn it on to check or login to the account as they will be selling them as scrap from wherever they procured them from.

    Scheduled power 9 Pie

    Hello! I have a new android tablet Vivax TPC102 on which I do not have the option to self-turn off and only turn on at a predetermined time.
    Android 9 Pie.
    Is it a bad version of android or is it up to the device itself? Is there a way to get the tablet to turn off and on again at a certain time? Please help, it is a very important option to me.

    Anyone using the x60 pro plus...need some help

    I have got the x60 pro plus and at 5x zoom or above the Periscope camera is horrible to focus on a subject....that or it switches to the 2x or 1x lens ....is this normal or is it a fault with my unit. The Periscope camera does a great job if you taking some sort of landscape and have the focus at infinity but except for that it sucks to focus on a subject.

    My Xiaomi Mi A3 is stuck on fastboot mode

    Hi everyone I need some help withmy Xiaomi Mi A3. I woke up and was just watching SpongeBob clips on YouTube when suddenly the volume kept going down. I checked if maybe the phone case was pressing it but it wasn't the case (lol) Anyway, I held the power button to turn it off and it suddenly went to fastboot.

    My phone has not been tinkered in any way and was working fine just last night. No rooting, flash, malicious apps. I tried holding the power button again and this is what happened: https://streamable.com/r52w27

    My phone was at 3% when it went into fastboot mode. I can afford to not use it for the day. A while ago the screen went black and I thought it finally drained but I pressed the power button again and it's back to fastboot.

    I haven't tried plugging it to my PC.

    NiceLock alternative for Motorola?

    I had to get a replacement phone recently and the only ones available from my carrier at the time were Motorolas, so I went with the Moto G Play. I'm having a real annoying time with a lot of the UI differences, mainly the back/recents button being swapped (back is now on the left) and the fact that I can't install any NiceLock modules. I've gotten two to "install" but they just close out as soon as I open them. Are there any alternative/suggested UI tweakers to make this version a little less horrible?

    Hard Bricked

    Yesterday I was using my phone and it suddenly crashed, so I just locked the phone at this time my phone was getting charged. After sometime I tried unlock it but nothing happened but the phone was still getting charged. So I turned the phone off by long pressing power button and when I tried switching it on nothing happened, it is not even recognizing that it is getting charged.

    I have tried everything, connected to my laptop and is recognized as a bulk storage.

    Is my phone hard bricked or can there be any other explanation for this.

    Note: I have not installed a custom rom and it last s/w update was 3 months ago.

    Bricked Note 10 Plus

    Just did first attempt at rooting my new Note 10 plus, after adding some files to odin, my phone is stuck permanently in "Downloading Do not turn off target" mode. When I hold the shortcut to reset the phone it simply lands back on this screen again and again. I believe I need to re install the stock software from samsung, but I have a problem. I cannot find the hardware code required to do that. The IMEI number is printed on the back but the hardware code isn't. Could anybody link me a recovery process that is applicable? I have been trying to find a solution on google and they all require information about the phone that I cant get because I am locked out. Sorry for noob question any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Accessing surround sound channels on mobile

    I want to watch sports right but turn off the "central channel" which is supposed to mute the commentators. I know my Huawei supports surround sound but can't find anything related to controlling those audio channels/ outputs. Thanks this would be helpful to others too I bet but thanks.

    Most recent audio app keep switching to the previously used app

    I'm having an audio issue with my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE. For the past couple of months (probably started mid-late March), I have been experiencing some odd behaviour with audio services that I haven't been able to find a solution to, so I am hoping someone here might have some ideas. My phone doesn't seem to keep track of the last audio app accessed and often drifts to the previous service. Eg: I mostly use Google Podcasts, but when I connect a Bluetooth device and use it to play, it will often launch Spotify.

    It doesn't matter which audio apps this might be - for about a week after I customized my text notification, my phone would load up the native audio player and play the notification sound instead. It's done this with Stitcher, VLC, and others as well. I had originally thought it to be a Bluetooth issue because I experienced this when I would connect to my ear buds or car and use that device to play, but then I noticed that the audio service on my lock screen will often display the previous service.

    I had thought it might be a Google Assistant issue - like, my wife might be playing Spotify at home, so it was bringing up Spotify on my phone. This doesn't seem to jive though, because the track it keeps loading (it's always the same track) is a podcast I play on the Home in my daughter's room at bedtime, not a playlist. It also wouldn't explain the other audio services popping up. It's like my phone can't remember its most recently used audio app. Any help would be appreciated.

    Is my Sony Xperia XZ2P obsolete after 3g sunset on Att?

    I have a 3 year old XZ2P that I bought brand new and it still works fine, I hope to get another year or two out of it. Att says that it won't work after the 3G sunset. But it has 4G and LTE just not 5G, they are offering an Att Radiant Core as an equivalent replacement. But the Radiant Core doesn't even come close to comparable. So do I have to get a new phone?

    I was thinking of getting the Att Radiant just to get a throw away/back up device. The website says that if I don't like the Radiant then I can go to the store and get something else, probably another cheap prepaid phone.

    Android 12 Beta - notification content hidden on lock screen

    I have a Pixel 4 and am not able to get my notification content to show up on my lock screen - can only see the icons of the apps the notifs are from underneath the clock. I have already selected the option in lock screen settings to show sensitive content on my lock screen so I don't know why this is happening.

    Not sure if this is something arranged wrong on my phone or if this is a beta problem. Anyone else experiencing this?

    I have a Oneplus 6 and last week I entered with him to a pool and filmed something, there were no problems but today I filmed something very quick and while for like an hour it had no problems but now the screen shut down the touch and vibration and the fingerprints works but the screen won't display

    App that tricks your phone/game to think you're using WiFi.

    I have never needed a router, because mobile data is just too cheap to even think about getting a router. But there's still games that won't let you play without WiFi, because they think that mobile data is too expensive. So I need an app, for non-rooted device, that makes the game/phone think I'm using WiFi.

    Samsung Galaxy S10e requires passcode after latest update. Locked out of phone.

    Hey everyone; I've been digging for a solution to this problem for hours now without any luck. Hoping that someone here can save me.

    My mother has owned a Galaxy S10e for about two years now. She doesn't use a password on it and hasn't in a very long time. She installed the software update yesterday without issue and everything was fine this morning. However, a few hours ago when she attempted to open her phone it gave a prompt for a password. We've tried everything we can think of - PINs she would have used at phone setup, google account password, various other account passwords, you name it. However, we're down to 1 more attempt before it automatically factory resets, which would be devastating as there are some extremely important files on that phone.

    We contacted support for both Samsung and our carrier, but neither was of any use. I tried a few other workarounds on my own as well; FindMyMobile doesn't work with our carrier, rebooting didn't work, safe mode wasn't of any use. One potentially promising avenue is Smart Switch, but I've been through hell and back trying to get that to work. When downloading the PC version and attempting to open it, this is what pops up. I'm baffled as to what this means - it can't find its own exe? I've tried installing various different versions of VS, but no dice there either.

    Does anyone have any potential solutions or suggestions?
