Zombie game without base building? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 11:31 PM PDT I have been searching for zombie apps without base building however they all seem to follow the same format of building a base and weapons degrading after five minutes of use. The apps I've seen tend to be gotcha games. Does anyone know any zombie games without that aspect but still has looting? [link] [comments]

Touchscreen mouse only via Parsec for Android Posted: 28 Jun 2021 12:34 PM PDT Mods, do delete if not allowed. I'm using Parsec to play my PC games on my Tab S7 and Note 10+ with the help of an XBone Controller and have been wondering about mouse-only/mouse-heavy games. Something like Surviving Mars, Divinity Original Sin 2, etc. I'm trying to figure if anyone here knows any way to hold right click AND drag at the same time or does that touchscreen bind just not exist. Because in most games in RTS/management, that's the keybind for camera movement. Disclaimer : I know it's easily fixable with a bluetooth/wired mouse, but I'm trying to figure out a way to not bring ANY physical accessories at all and just play mouse only game via touchscreen gestures to play on-the-go in trains and whatnot. What I've found is that, 1 finger tap is Left Click. 1 tap and hold is left click hold (free to drag). 2 finger tap is right click. However 2 finger tap and hold is scroll wheel. Looking for a game with the base building aspect of the later Fallout games. Posted: 27 Jun 2021 06:55 PM PDT I did search for fallout on here but I care less about the shooting aspect, and more about the building part. Not the way all these scammy mobile games are where you can build a premade this or that, but rather the free building aspect of fo4 and 76 where you can shape your own buildings. Want to build a twisted tower with stuff sticking out the sides? Fine, that's what I'm looking for that freedom. Also not looking for anything too cartoony or for kids. Any ideas? thanks! Please, help me find the game. Posted: 28 Jun 2021 01:03 AM PDT I am looking for the game. I played it about 3 years ago. This game about Special Forces vs Terrorists in arabian country. Gameplay similar to XCOM. [link] [comments]

[Request] Can anyone recommend any decent real time co-op games a buddy and I could play together? Posted: 27 Jun 2021 01:11 PM PDT Basically just the title, lmao. Genre of the game doesn't matter, as long as it's enjoyable! [link] [comments]

[Request] Looking for idle progression game for exhausted student. Posted: 27 Jun 2021 01:01 PM PDT In graduate school and my gaming time has dropped considerably. I'm looking for a mindless game, paid or free, that allows me to "progress" without too much brainpower or time. I played Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes for several years, and really enjoyed it, but having to keep up with a guild and dailies was cutting into my study routine. Does anyone have any suggestions? I know this is an incredibly vague post, but I'm open to anything. Paid/free, portrait/landscape, just something that allows me to build a kingdom or upgrade a hero or gather more units. Thanks! The best air combat sim for Android right now: Sky combat: modern warplanes Posted: 27 Jun 2021 09:46 PM PDT Hi. This is not only going to be a recommendation of the game, but I also want to put out there some much needed info for people getting into it, since well, the game has some issues I will describe in a moment, and I would like to do my part in helping people playing, and also just see the game grow. Anyway here goes. THE GAME So this game is an air to air combat simulator with exceptional graphics and gameplay. There are ground targets but most of the game relies on ATA. The game is rather recent and small, and for the moment has only two game modes. That is free for all, and 5v5. MODES 5v5 puts your team against another, both teams having all 5 players spawning near their destroyer or "base", though high in the air. The game says to win you have to take out either planes, AAs, or the team destroyer, but not everything is equal. Again I'll explain more later. (Btw game mode runs for 5 mins til timeout) FFA is an a2a only game mode, you go against 9 other players at the same time, and the game ends when the time runs out or when someone gets 150 points (13/14 kills). Imo this is the better game mode to grind in because it is mostly shorter and if you are good and can consistently land #1 or #2 you'll get better rewards than 5v5. PROS
-core gameplay and dogfights feel realistic and rewarding, they are intense, mostly in FFA when you are shooting 3 different players and getting shot by 4, having to keep track of missiles and radar, timing flares, etc. Really entertaining in that regard.
CONS Firstly I want to clear something up, while I might seem very negative in my cons, please don't let them push you away from the game, in my opinion they can be easily ironed out if the devs show some interest, but for that I think the game needs more players. So please do try the game, besides, with this info you'll be better equipped to play the game to it's best and avoid pitfalls. Anyways.
This is probably the worst thing about the game. If you spend your gold incorrectly it is extremely easy to just be stuck on the first two planes for a long time. Also while there are around 15 planes, there is a clear progression, and while you are very much capable to kill the best plane with the worst, it will be quite hard, and imo this does mean that after buying a plane, and upgrading to another one, the first will mostly be outdated, which means in the end you will only use 3-4 planes instead of all 15, one for each purpose. -game rewards are rather small While there is daily and weekly missions with decent rewards, and an in game time reward system, they are just lacking in digits, imo. Daily rewards are mostly 50 cash per mission and after completing all you only get the basic crate, which is absolutely horrible. Literally adding a zero to all rewards would very much ease this problem.
There are only 4 maps, and don't get me wrong they are far far superior to any other fsim for mobile, but still, they are only 4. And updates are released about every 1-2 months, which means that the lack of variety mentioned before can make the game rather repetitive quickly. I suggest not playing all that much in one session anyway since you can burn out easily. Those are the biggest ones in my opinion , but there is something else, and that is the lack of information of game systems, prices, etc, so I will literally just make a list of facts about game mechanics that are not really explained to my satisfaction. This should help clear most confusion when starting out. Progression: there are 50 levels in this game. Now I believe (not 100% sure) but each level increases the amount of XP needed to lvl up. You can earn 200 max XP per game if you end #1 on FFA With all 13 kills. I'm currently lvl 25 and here you need 2750 XP to reach 26, so about 30 games of consistent #1s and #2s. Multiply that by the next 25 levels plus the extra XP needed per level and you can get an idea of the progression. Again, not that fast. Plane guide: prices and tips UpTo level 25. General stuff: you unlock the ability to buy a plane every 5 levels. Regular planes are unlocked with cash and both legendary and premium with gold. For this reason you will want to save absolutely every last ingot till a certain point which I will explain. Do NOT. EVER. buy containers UNLESS they are basic containers for a daily mission. Anything else is just a complete waste, again UNLESS you already bought your certain point plane and need missiles for it, because yes, in that case you do need to open legendary cases. And yes, ONLY LEGENDARIES. Also, I don't think it's ever worth it to buy 2 of the same plane. This is possible so be careful when selecting a plane you already own, having 2 is just useless most of the time. Anyway: Hawker: starter plane. By far the worst. You do NOT want to really upgrade it in anyway unless it is for a mission , since it is the cheapest one to upgrade. Do not swap missiles or anything. Keep as is. MIG 19 FARMER: second plane. Actually really usable, I would recommend upgrading all of it though not changing the missiles just yet. You will want to keep a spot for this plane in battle because it's the only one with air to ground missiles near the beginning, and they are absolutely CRUCIAL for destroyers. Literally impossible to take them down without A2G missiles. Price 4,000 cash F-101 VOODOO: price: 2k gold. Not worthy whatsoever, the fishy is better in every aspect for cash. Just hold your gold. MIG 21 FISHY: really good early plane. Price: 40k cash. You should be able to get it quite early. Between this and the next for me is a tossup, if you already have extra missiles through crates then maybe wait, but this is still a great option. MIRAGE 3: price: 45k Same thing as the fish. I wouldn't say it's strictly better than but it carries an extra missile which can make the difference. DELTA DAGGER and MIRAGE F1 4 and 5k gold respectively. Both performing similarly though delta is faster in straights and 'rage faster in turns. Imo not worth it, better to wait a bit longer. F4 PHANTOM: price: 5k Actually really good and noticably better than all previous. If you have the 5k take the phantom 1000%. If you want you could buy this and be happy for a while but imo it's better to get the lvl 25 plane which is coming up. F-111: price :6k newest plane and imo absolutely trash compared to the phantom. Don't get this plane. F-14 tomcat: price: 7k gold. Pretty good imo and one of the better looking planes. This is the one to save up for imo as you will get the 1500 hp meaning you can't get one shot almost ever + decent fuel and speed. Only issue is the weigh making you really slow turning, but this plane should be paired with long range sticks anyway for the long range combat. MIG 29 fulcrum: the best cash plane, lvl 30. I haven't unlocked it yet but will update you when I do. In stats it looks very similar to the f-14 but faster turning. In matches they are very capable and I think you should buy it even if you do get the cat, just because you will need to use cash at some point and well, this is the best there is. There are more planes. But I think I'll stop here for now since I can't really provide much more useful info about them since I just don't know. If any players here have info on price and performance it would be appreciated. General tips and weirdness:
-use your radar, especially when being shot by missiles. The missile indications on screen are to fast and unpredictable to be used reliably. Instead when being shot wait until the missiles pop on the radar then wait until near contact to release the flares. With time you should develop good timing, though faster missiles can catch you off guard. Always try to turn while throwing flares for maximum evasion chances.
You have around a 2.5 percent chance to unlock A plane from the purple crates, and the golden and black crates are both under 1.5. don't buy crates in hopes of getting a plane. Save gold instead.
Wow! That was quite a lot of info. Don't worry if you skipped some parts, I just wanted to give a comprehensive breakdown of the things I felt where important. If any of you have more info or any correction, please do post it below. I really do hope the game evolves into an amazing experience, but we'll have to wait and see. For now I'll keep the game and play it often. If you have any questions too I'll try to respond. Anyway thanks for reading and happy flyin'. [link] [comments] |
