    ADB and Fastboot tools

    Posted: 07 May 2021 01:30 PM PDT

In the past, "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" was a popular tool that provided ADB and Fastboot binaries for Windows, without needing to install the full Android SDK. However, it is no longer being updated, so the tool versions are out of date, and it is no longer recommended. If you are still using it, then it's time to switch to something else. Here's a link just for reference.

Google now provides the platform tools separately from the Android SDK, so you can download directly from Google if you like.

Alternatively, for Windows, there is a tool called "Tiny ADB & Fastboot". It is similar to the old "Minimal ADB and Fastboot", but is being kept up to date. It is smaller than the platform tools package from Google, and is a little easier to use since it has an installer. It has worked great for me.

    Samsung Quick Share (Windows 10)

Supported models include Galaxy Books released from May 2021 onwards with Windows 10 version 20H2 or higher

Hopefully this expands in the future, as it seems to be a software lock. If you manage to get it installed, the app still refuses to function. It could probably be bypassed, but I'm not even sure where to start with that. The SmartThings app seems to work on any Windows 10 device, so that might be a good sign.

Models to be supported and their timelines may be subject to change in accordance with the Company's policies.

This is also mentioned in the store description
