| YouTube clock alarm stops playing after 30 seconds Posted: 10 May 2021 09:48 AM PDT I have a Pixel 3 and use the Clock app for my alarms. I have it set to play from a YouTube Music playlist and that used to work fine, but a few days ago it started to only play 30 seconds of a song and then pause, which then causes the Clock to switch to a default beeping alarm. Does anyone know how to fix that? I still have YT Premium, and the Spotify alarm doesn't pause itself (though I'd prefer not to use that since it turns the repeat button on.) | Is there a way to tell if my Work Account is blocking access to an app? Posted: 10 May 2021 08:09 AM PDT I downloaded a Pokemon GO style game, but it doesn't work on mobile data. This is despite the fact that my pokemon GO game worked fine on mobile data. I've tried all the article suggestions like ensuring background data is selected on the app and even with Google play services. I'm losing my mind trying to find out why this app only works on WiFi. Is it possible to clone the storage to possibly put it back on the phone later? Or is my only option transferring what I need off? I was told by my service centre that wireless AA won't work on sync 3 and won't be upgraded to work. Ever. So I'm wondering if there are any wireless adapters that will enable it? The phone is not outdated in anyway except, for the fact that it is not supported by Samsung anymore for software updates. I have searched online for custom roms or rooting solutions for the note 8 but haven't been able to find anything for the snapdragon model. | Why is my Bluetooth suddenly cutting out? Posted: 10 May 2021 11:10 AM PDT I've had a moto one action for awhile now (I hate it). It has had so many weird problems, that come up out of nowhere and then disappear. My problem with my Bluetooth has been happening for awhile though. I'll be listening to a song and for a few seconds it cuts out. It sounds like it would if you got too far away from your phone (except I'm holding my phone it my hand). This has happened with both my Sony Bluetooth headphones and my Bluetooth ear piece, so I don't think it's the headphones problem. My phone uses Bluetooth to connect to my smart watch at the same time I use my headphones. I tried restarting my phone and headphones, turning the Bluetooth off and on, un-pairing my headphones and re-pairing. I also tried clearing my Bluetooth cache and Bluetooth storage. It seem to be a little better if I turn my smart watch off, but I haven't tested that too much. Also a lot of the time the bit rate of my songs is pretty high. The thing is though I'm not doing anything different than I did before, so I'm not sure why it would be a problem now. It can be so bad it can become unusable. Also when I use my ear piece or speaker phone for a phone call sometimes the phone will switch to my normal phone speaker. TL;DR: My Bluetooth audio is cutting out like if I get too far away from my phone even if I'm holding my phone in my hand. [link] [comments] |

| Dual sim displays missed call on wrong sim Posted: 10 May 2021 10:44 AM PDT I use an S10+ with 2 simcards. I notice that when im in call with sim2 and i receive a second call during my conversation it will display it as a missed call on sim1. Is this normal behavior? I find this very confusing and somethis call people back with the wrong number. This results in using my private number for work and the whole reason for a dual sim is to be able to have a seperate number for each situation. [link] [comments] |

I have tried EVERYTHING. Restart. Checking if I have turned it off by accident. Trying new apps. Re-installing apps. Re-starting phone (of course). Etc. | Advice about malfunctioning Pixel 2 XL Posted: 10 May 2021 05:44 AM PDT Hello everyone, first post here. I own a Google Pixel 2 XL and lately it has been acting strange. My carrier is AT&T but the phone is unlocked. Also my phone has 64 GB of storage. My battery has been dying quick it seems, and whenever I plug the phone in it turns off. And last night it would not charge. I cleaned the charging port with some tape and it was clean. It charged this morning on a charger that was not the original fast charger which it would not charge on last night. Would y'all suggest replacing the battery (if I do this I will replace my screen as well because it has some cracks) also if I choose to repair it is there a larger mAh battery option? Would y'all recommend me using my upgrade? If so I have been interested in one of the new Samsung's or Pixel 4 models. I really like the samsung notes but I love how you always get the updates asap on the pixels. | Text notifications pop up again when opening messages app Posted: 10 May 2021 09:09 AM PDT Pixel 3 unmodified phone here using the stock Messages app. When I have unread text notifications and open the Messages app I get a pop up notification for each unread message. | Google One failed to restore my MMS (multimedia messages) Posted: 10 May 2021 09:02 AM PDT Pixel 4XL. My backup has 3 GB of MMS backed up. After a factory reset, I restored from backup, including MMS. I saw Google One in the notification shade had "Restoring multimedia messages..." for a while. The "Phone and Messaging Storage" app only grew to about 63 MB (after several hours) and none of my pics/videos were restored (though all my group text messages appeared immediately). I assume it's because I've always used the "SMS Backup & Restore" app in the past and therefore my database was perhaps kind of screwed up. I see the new backup of my phone has only 4 MB in MMS (from a few recent pics over Mother's Day). Anyone else have experience with Google One failing to restore MMS (pictures/videos)? | Posted: 10 May 2021 08:11 AM PDT I use voice-to-text all the time for texts, emails, etc. I punctuate by voice. Until this weekend it has worked fine. But all of a sudden, android has started putting in the actual text/descriptor instead of the punctuation mark I actually want (i.e. "{period}" instead of "." or "{comma}" instead of ","). I've tried to google a solution online, but all of the results are just articles & complaints about the auto-punctuating they tried to implement a couple years ago. I've searched my settings, including language & input, and I can't find any setting related to v-t-t punctuation. Does anyone have any idea or fix please? [link] [comments] |

I forgot my screen lock pattern for my galaxy note 9,been using fingerprint for the last few days and trying to remember but now im locked out complately.I cant use the findmymobile site because the remote unlocking function is off and i couldnt turn it on without the pattern. Ive seen few methods with drfone or adb and was wondering if anyone knows does any of it work or do you know some other method perhaps. Posted: 10 May 2021 07:45 AM PDT Yesterday, I installed EMUI 11 and the security update that comes after, everything is fine, phone is even faster, but there is this one thing that is kinda making me go insane. When my phone is locked and I just turn on the screen, it fades in, takes it like half a second to completely turn on, before the update it was instantaneous. I hope I'm explaining this right, I feel like I've tried everything, restarted it, checked every setting known to mankind, changed the theme, wallpaper too, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
