    2 Years of Development Later

Here is a recap of the busy week that was, Week 17 of our Mobile Gaming News

    Posted: 10 May 2021 07:54 AM PDT

What games you all playing then?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 08:38 AM PDT

Have finally gotten around to upgrading and tweaking my Amazon Fire HD 8 so looking for some entertainment for it.

I enjoy pick up put down type of games. Loving point and click, detective style (or detective/lawyer style in general) Fantasy/light RPG is a solid choice, so is roguelike.

Played games like Knights of pen and paper, pixel dungeon, soda dungeon, sorcery 1-4, ace attorneys, Simon the sorcery, leasure suit Larry - some casual games like candy crush too.

    Any suggestions?

I love turning enemies into fireworks in my back yard. What do you think of the effects?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 11:46 AM PDT

So what Grand Space strategy game is everyone playing. There seem to be 4 good one's out right now.

    Posted: 10 May 2021 08:00 AM PDT

I finally got some decent Android hardware and would like to get into one of the more in depth space scifi strategy games. From what I can tell the top contenders are

    Eve Echoes

    Infinite Galaxy

    Infinite Lagrange

    Galaxy Reavers 2

So my question is which of the games has the most indepth combat. I'm already considering taking Infinite Lagrange off the list because of the limit of actions you can do a day, but I really like the ship design but the combat look kind of stale.

Echoes looks incredibly complicated but it seems to have depth instead of just jerking you around having you do a million things to accomplish very little. Im hoping its more that strafing in circles.

Infinite Galaxy looks like it checks lots of boxes but Im not seeing any depth in the combat. Basically a cinematic.

Galaxy Reavers 2 looks like it has some fun combat with some actual interaction but the ships dont quite pop as much as the other games.

Can anyone speak on their experience with these games or maybe there is one Im missing.

What happened to the game balls?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 12:52 PM PDT

A few years back there was a game called balls which was a standard brick breaker game you pointed directly at the bricks instead of pulling back it was all random without any premade levels or powerups it had a version called advanced with a few other different shapes as well as a few other games. I really liked this app and I want to know what happened since all other Brick breaker games aren't the same.

    Side scrolling RPG with Heroes

    Posted: 10 May 2021 12:48 PM PDT

I remember playing a side scrolling RPG where you had a team of 4 heroes, each with their own traits. You could command them and do special attacks, also their gear could be upgraded, I remember fighting a few normal maps and at the end of each region was a boss. I wanna play it again but I don't remember the title. I think it had something to do with "Heroes" in the title.

Anyone can help me ? It was about 7 years ago I played this game.

    Thanks

How do you like your mobile games monetized?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 12:42 AM PDT

I've seen discussions in this sub where people go up in arms in almost every form of monetization vehicle.

"Watch an ad to gain lives? Blasphemy! What a break to immersion." "Loot boxes? This is gambling!" "Premium consumables? Pay to win is bad!" "Pay upfront? In 2021? No $0.99 is too much!"

Curious to find out the consensus here on how should mobile game devs put food on the table.

What game is similar to REDCON?

    Posted: 10 May 2021 09:09 AM PDT

I have finished my second playthrough of the game (bought the game far back and felt like playing it again recently), and I'd love some similar game, but I've been having trouble looking for enjoyable strategies in general, let alone something that specific. Anyone knows something?

I want to share my new favorite developer dabaApps with y'all. These games are amazing, unique, very challenging and lots of fun. They all have the same theme and are a numbered series. Curious if anyone has heard of them. They are escape games with a chicken character you play as.

    Posted: 10 May 2021 11:10 AM PDT

The artwork is so awesome it is definitely one of a kind and the puzzles are like nothing else out there and so well thought up and executed. They seem not so well known as the download count is low. They are so good and they deserve to be known. I think because it's Japanese it is less known. Google play is weird I found these by searching "japanese escape games" just searching "escape games" I never found them. Seems limited and biased how google play does that. Anyway here's the link try it you will get hooked and play them all I am sure. The hints are great too not just the answer truly best hint system ever. The puzzles are hard but in a good way. Let me know what you think please! Enjoy! https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=9157834437457696915

    A Good Tactical RPG

    Posted: 09 May 2021 10:27 PM PDT

Give me some of the best MMORPGs which are not heavily P2W.

    Posted: 09 May 2021 10:23 PM PDT

Ran out of games to play, and thought maybe i should try these popular games like Genshin Impact and others but the moment i saw there's a gacha on it i immediately stopped.

Grindy ones are fine, it's one of the reason i'm looking for new games anyway, to pass time.

I just want ones that's also fair for the ones that's playing hard enough not only for the ones who's paying.

Played Dragon Nest M for a year, and boy was it a mess. Fantastic art styles, great game modes, but the ones who literally spend so much are the only one who rules the PvE. Sure, PvP was fair since your gears doesn't affect it but damn, i ain't gonna play PvP the whole damn time.

    Thanks in advanced!
