    Games where you raid bosses?

    Posted: 30 May 2021 03:15 AM PDT

Are there games where you manage a team of RPG "heroes" and raid bosses? Better yet a game where you are the boss and defend your self from the heroes? Also better if its online with a nice community

Finally installed Fallout 1 on my Android device using Magic DOSBox. I am not an expert in using DOSBox. It is my first game installed in DOSBox. Performance is good. I will install Fallout 2 later.

A "The Walking Dead Survivors" Review

    Posted: 29 May 2021 08:08 PM PDT

I can sum up the meaning of life in one word, survival. Or more on the lines of survival of the fittest. This game though is more like survival of the wealthiest. It's more like Monopoly, but atleast in Monopoly you get to use stage money to develope. Once you start playing you will quickly learn that the bigger clans bully, intimidate and attack all of the other smaller clans even knowing that resources can easily be obtained from the overabundance of scavenge sites. They pressure you into joining them or else. If you don't join them they help themselves with constant raids and attacks draining your precious resources. They take what ever they want when ever they want. Their non-existenting diplomacy and morals are no different than the Nazis. So it comes down to two choices. Give up your morals and join one of the mega clans and become just another drone servicing the evil overlords or start spending real money developing on your own (big mistake). This game was a colossal waste of time and especially money. Don't play this game because you will regret it. It's just another pathetic cliché of the infamous free to play, pay to win games.

Opinions on Hero Siege: Pocket Edition?

    Posted: 30 May 2021 06:14 AM PDT

The game seems to be the perfect diablo clone this sub is asking for every single day, and yet I've never seen it mentioned before here. It's on sale right now but the ratings are shockingly low and I was wondering if someone has actually played it.

Does anybody have a version of Arel wars 2 that is moded to be able to play offline

    Posted: 30 May 2021 08:13 AM PDT

I really liked this game many years ago, but gamevil just deleted one day and sadly this game needed a online conection even though the full game is already downloable.

    http://droidevil.blogspot.com/2014/03/arel-wars-v102-modded-apk.html

I found arel wars 1 offline version, so I though there should be an offline version for arel wars 2, please help, or if somebody know a way to mod it then, maybe send me a link so I can learn to do it myself. I really want to play this game, because it gives me inspiration.

[REQUEST] Active Mobile MMORPG games (preferably PvE/story driven ones)

    Posted: 30 May 2021 11:11 AM PDT

I'm currently playing Ragnarok Online Mobile and Genshin Impact, and I kind of thought what MMORPGs on mobile have a community that flows and grows that's still active today as it was in day 1? Any suggestions?

[REQUEST] Fun game with long time motivation

    Posted: 30 May 2021 09:36 AM PDT

Hi I am looking for some good android games that are fun for a long time. I used to play Summoners War for about 2000 days until I deleted my account recently.

I know there are thousands of Gacha games out there and I have tried a lot of them. None were able to meet my expectations.

    - I am looking for a game that does not have good graphics. I really do not want to burn my phones battery just because a game looks fancy.

    - I love strategic stuff and autoplay. I don't want to actively play I just want to plan and see how my strategy turns out.

    - I don't want my progression to be super slow, I won't grind a month just to build 1 unit. (In Summoners War for example I used to farm like 6h/day and didn't really make any progress.)

Maybe some of you know games that fit those requirements?

Lesser known Paid RPG (and rpg like) games (Part 1)

    Posted: 29 May 2021 04:55 AM PDT

NOTE: I made this list for my main device (iOS), but I believe most of the games are available on Android.

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Hello,

Whenever someone ask for some recommendations, usually the same games pop over and over again, and probably you all know about them. So, today, I tried to compile a list with some paid games that you may or may not know.

This games may not be the best in their categories, so I suggest everyone to check reviews and Youtube vids before buying them.

I believe all of them are offline.

    - Arcane Quest Legends (ARPG / 3.99$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjv1HU9Uz6o

A Diablo "inspired" game. It has some story, and the builds are nice. It has some difficulty.

    - Vengeance RPG (ARPG / 2.99$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oq2pcDBqQfI

Another Diablo 2/3 clone. There are 2 versions, 3d and the other 2d, but it's the same game. I had more fun with this than with AQL because it feels more arcade-y

    - Raid Manager (‎Management RPG / 1,99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQabfZLK7Ss

You control the healer in a party that only do boss raids. Your work is gear and level up your team members. The fighting is auto.

    - Warriors of Genesis (2d Platformer ARPG / ‎4,99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V26rSuPAEuI

"Warriors of Genesis", an ARPG, is based on one of the epic stories from Chinese ancient myth - Shan-Hai Jing "Classic of Mountain and Sea."

You can change between 4 different characters on command in the game. Characters gain powerful skills by transforming to their elemental forms; moreover, they have their own specific abilities, such as the power of word or the power of nature, which can be used in the interactive tricks and gimmicks.

    - Empire of Angels IV (Fire Emblem style RPG / 4,99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJePr1P076U

    Beautifully crafted story

The game does well to implement a strategy system. Where literally, your actions can decide how a battle will turn. Making the wrong move can lead to many consequences. The challenge is pretty good, but a bit poorly executed I would say

    - Zyca (ARPG / Portrait / 7.99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dUVjZIvnN8

This is a steampunk-like action RPG. The english translation is pretty poor, but it has ps2 graphics, looks really nice.

    - Lock's Quest (Nintendo DS port - Tactical+Arpg 6,99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZYIlllSGfU

IGN said "Lock's Quest is by far one of the most original, inspired, and entertaining experiences we've had on DS this year. "

    - Firmament Ode (Turn based rpg / Portrait / 2.99US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7-38OJxfSs

If you miss Terra Battle, this looks pretty similar.

    - ArcaneSoul Plus (Side Scroller ARPG / Not full screen on new models / 2,99 US$ )

Dungeon Fighter Online inspired rpg, but with some platforming, and only three classes. Pretty repetitive, the enemies have too much life so it feels a little bit slow sometimes. I like it tho.

    - Earth Wars (Side Scroller Hack n Slash RPG / Pc port / ‎3,99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eEKFyd9wf8

Futuristic hack n slash with megadeformed chibi characters.

    - The Greater Good (Side scrolling JRPG / $3.99)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT_rQKE3GJA

The Greater Good is a stylized, throwback, turn-based RPG featuring unique graphics and an original, explosive soundtrack

    - Heroin Anthem Zero (Action Platformer / Pc port / 3,99 US$)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfTId1Ijv70

Very beautiful game and music, I enjoyed this one.

    --------------------------

And this is all for this time.

If you know other "lesser known" paid gems, please share with me.

    Thanks!

I am not a seasoned mobile gamer at all but I have some free time throughout the day so I wonder if original non-trash games exist on mobile. Gonna play on note20 ultra 5g, so screen is big but not tablet big. Please suggest something.

    Requirements:

    Single player

No ingame purchases(one time paid games are preferred)

No grind or repetitive meaningless gameplay.

    Not a shooter/racing/japsh*t sim.

Complex mechanics, sandbox or roguelike/lite are welcome.

Games where you can progress while app isn't open, like Fallout Shelter?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 01:48 PM PDT

I really like that in FOS I can set up a bunch of stuff and then shut the app down and cook dinner. Any other games you'd suggest that I can progress while not actively playing? Bonus points if you can choose to sit down with it and sink your teeth into it.

I've been playing Soda Dungeon 2 and I enjoy it, but I wish the 'afk' part of it was more fulfilling. If you could turn auto mode on and shut the app down and come back later it would be perfect!

Noob Question: Nintendo Switch or Bluetooth controller for mobile phone that can hold my phone while its in a slim case?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 08:31 PM PDT

I want to play Minecraft Pocket Edition with a real controller instead of just the touch screen on my phone. I've never played a Nintendo switch or used a bluetooth controller for a phone. I havent even played on a console for a few years now honestly. Should I buy a Switch or something like a Gamesir GS4 or something else? If its a phone controller, will a Silk Wallet Slayer case (which is pretty thin but not nothing) prevent the controller from holding the phone? I don't want to have to take it out of the case every time I use it. Is there a game controller or Switch model that can screencast to a tv or a roku?

Any free mobile multiplayer game recommendations?

    Posted: 29 May 2021 12:00 AM PDT

My friends and I are currently trying to find a game where we can all play together. We're finding a mobile multiplayer game that would be fun to voice chat on Discord. Since some of us don't want to pay with money, we'd want it to be free. Some examples would Ark: Survival Evolved or Minecraft. It doesn't have to be a world builder, we just want a game where many people could play and could work together.

Searching for genetics breeding simulator games

    Posted: 29 May 2021 07:03 AM PDT

Hi all, I am very interested in finding more games that allow you to breed animals or creatures together to make unique combinations. Most of these games seem straight forward, but I would also love something with more of a challenge (such as family tree genetics, not just A+B=C). So far, I only have Pocket Frogs in my library. It is okay, and I like all the combinations of frogs I can make, but there isn't much else to the game other than moving frogs and waiting on cooldowns. The breeding is very straightforward. I would love some other games I can play as well, and if they have other mechanics and game features that is fine too. It needs to be something that can keep my interest. I may just be looking for the wrong keywords in my search online.

Please do not recommend any emulators. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks y'all been following this sub for along time and took many of the games here into play.

What are your favourite P2W games?
