For me it's hard to just chose and stick with one. I know for sure that as far as accessibility goes iOS is better (especially the braille display support). | Adblocking and VPN together (Adguard and Sentinel dVPN) Posted: 04 Apr 2021 05:38 AM PDT Hi Reddit, So I have been a big fan of Adguard for 3 years since I discovered them, all my household devices are using premium version and it works flawlessly. I have been wanting to get a VPN for sometime and I've found Sentinel dVPN to be extremely quick and I like their decentralised network and open source code for complete transparency and protection. I am struggling to find a way to keep both the VPN on and Adguard to filter at the same. I am not rooted. I tried 2 things: I tried to switch Adguard to Https filtering using localhost, but the Sentinel VPN seems to bypass Adguard local host settings entirely. I set these to point WiFi proxy to 127.0.01 and 8080. My ISP is Virgin media in the UK and their router does not allow DNS changing, otherwise I could use Adguard's DNS settings to apply ad blocking at router level, and use Sentinel VPN at individual device level. Posted: 04 Apr 2021 10:19 AM PDT i have an old LG phone that i used to use and when it has battery life it sends me like 30+ pornographic notifications at once every 5 minutes, i never have searched porn on that phone and i haven't allowed notifications from sketchy websites, when i click on them and block notifications they still come. Posted: 04 Apr 2021 07:34 AM PDT I had my phone hooked up to my computer where I was doing CPU overclocking and totally didn't think about the phone. All I know is that it discharged. I reset my computer a few times (because I was doing a CPU boost, I had to go into the bios to change some values) and then I look and the phone is in fastboot. I got scared. I tried booting it up but it didn't work. It is now in fastboot, plugged in to charge. The phone had orangefox and magisk v22 installed (the phone has no ramdisk, maybe this information will help). | P30 Pro screen damaged I think help Posted: 04 Apr 2021 10:28 AM PDT Hello everyone, I own a Huawei P30 Pro (pearl white eddition if that matters) and am having problems with the screen Basicly I woke up today and the left side of the screen was very white/discolored and flickering a lot. It was scary. But 20 minutes later, the flickering stopped and the colours came back like 98%, but as I use the phone the discoloration creeps back a little, around 5% just on the left side of the screen, but If I turn it on and off it goes back to 98% colour and the cycle continues. The weird part is when in sunlight, almost the entire left side turns white, and as soon as I go to a shadow it goes back to normal. Looks like it burns. Iv'e serched around, It's nothing to do with auto-brightnes and I don't know what happened to the phone, maybe I slept on it idk Help please. [link] [comments] |

I have an issue where my phone hangs Task manager and Network properties when on 'USB Tether' on Windows 10. if the phone connected to a PC and no tether via USB it works fine, but when I tether via USB after a minute or two it hangs 'Task manager' and 'Network properties' the rest is working ok. I tried several USB ports and several USB cables, and different PC and the issue still persists. Sometimes my PC just auto restarts. without any warnings. Tethering with 'WiFi hotspot' works fine, I can use it but it's much slower than 'USB Tether' Thanks in Advance. [link] [comments] |

Only Pie GSIs work, but the speaker never works and I haven't been able to solve that. Since it's a Qualcomm device, I thought I might have better luck with CAF-based roms. However it seems even the traditionally CAF based roms are built on Phh's AOSP base. Do any CAF-based Pie GSI's exists at all? [link] [comments] |

Everything works fine for saving passwords on my Blu Vivo XI running Android 8. I've cleared cache and data, uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled Via Browser. | Why isn't the Moto G7 Plus supported by Metro? Posted: 04 Apr 2021 07:35 AM PDT The phone is on a pretty good deal right now and I was wondering what the reason was for Metro not being listed among the supported carriers. Is it something arbitrary that I can get away with or will it be impossible to use? | Having an issue with app stretching in full screen Posted: 04 Apr 2021 06:54 AM PDT I have been playing this game for a while now and it was running in a 16:9 aspect ratio, my phone is longer than 16:9 and there used to be black bars on top and bottom while playing the game and today I saw text in bottom with a white background saying " click here to stretch and fill " or something like that and curious me clicked it. Now the game only fills in the bottom and the top black bar is still there Now the problem is that some buttons in the game that were on the bottom have gone missing and yes I have filed a complaint to the police. However, there's so many bad reviews of a bad processor, and I don't need the 90hz panel. I just want: Good idle battery(last a whole day when using minimally, like notepad/texts), 13mp camera or better, works in Japan(2100Mhz band 1 4g), and 32gb storage or better(if only 32, have sd capability). | Posted: 04 Apr 2021 01:23 AM PDT So basically I have a xbox 360 wireless controller and there is a bug where I think it reads triggers inputs as right stick values (horizontal and vertical). And I watched a video where they said I need to root my phone then copy wired controller driver and rename to wireless, but firstly to unlock my phone I need to wipe all the data and then restore but don't wanna do it since it will take so much time to download everything again and secondly, I can't find that video that I watched so I don't even know where are those drivers. And also if I use Steam link there won't be those problems since it has their own drivers as I understand so maybe there is a program that fix it or other way to fix it anyone? I can't see it despite having view hidden files enabled but can tell it's taking up space. I can see it via my Windows PC but can't delete it cause it says it's write protected.
