Posted: 25 Mar 2021 12:05 PM PDT I'm looking for any app/setting which would allow me to setup an alarm that sounds if I lose WiFi connection (in case I lose power to my home during high winds tonight). | Apps not working over cellular data (5G)? Posted: 25 Mar 2021 11:10 AM PDT I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G on T-Mobile. My Instagram and GroupMe are not working over cellular data. Snapchat and Reddit and other apps work fine. I've tried messing with the data regulation settings, but no dice. I still get messages on GroupMe and Instagram, but when I open the apps, I can't do anything. I cannot send messages or like any on GroupMe and on Instgram, the messages don't load and neither my feed. Does anyone have any idea how to go about fixing this? Thanks! [link] [comments] |

Neither one of us are blocked. We text basically every day. Suddenly this error message is popping up and I can't text her iPhone, but she can still text me. I use the standard "Messages" app. I've tried: - restarting my phone - starting it in safe mode - turning off "chat features" - texting with Wi-Fi on and off (Wi-Fi vs. Data) - editing the contact (change number, save, phone restart, change back, save, phone restart, then text) - deleting the contact all together, restarting, and texting just the number - clearing cache of Messages, Google Play Services, Google Play Store - resetting network settings I don't know what else to try. I own a OnePlus 7 and recently noticed when my phone chooses to use H+ doesn't go back to LTE when it's available. I set the preferred network type to "2G/3G/4G Automatic". | NooB needs help Compiling Android TV 10 Posted: 25 Mar 2021 12:39 PM PDT Hi all, I have a Firefly ROC-RK3399-PC (also called "Renegade Elite") dev board that I desperately want to turn into an Android TV 10 box. Firefly has a great how to on how to compile the stock Android 10: Compile Android 10, but not how to compile Android TV 10! Does Android TV require a special build option? A different repo source? Is it just a series of apps that have to be installed on top of the stock Android? After googling my guts out for months I still have no clue. It was a weird all caps name and then this morning the text was from their number. And now all of a sudden the text is from that all caps name. Anyone? | Posted: 25 Mar 2021 11:38 AM PDT I have a HTC 820 and few months ago I realized I can remove background Asian apps and improve performance of my phone. I just uploaded root and removed google streets and few Chinese apps too. After a reset my phone android didn't start. I reputed battery and it started but crashed when I tried to go main page of phone. So I uploaded evie launcher and it started work normal. I just said that's it until I tried to upload things on google play store. It was not working. Now I just cannot upload or update anything from it. I can upload apks from the internet but they don't work correctly. For example, I can't share anything on instagram or can't reach filters on photo apps. Factory reset don't works. | How do I backup everything but my settings? Posted: 25 Mar 2021 09:59 AM PDT Long story short, I messed up some of my notification settings and half of them are the default sound and multiple other applications have individual sounds set. I've tried resetting everything and nothing allows me to change it all back to default. I want to do a factory reset but I want to keep everything else but the settings. when I go to my backup settings and backup through Google drive it also backs up my settings. | Posted: 25 Mar 2021 09:13 AM PDT I just got the Samsung a12. it needed updated so I did it overnight, woke up the next morning with a message saying it couldn't write to my sd card so I tried 2 other sd (one my laptop and one from my switch which both work fine normally) and the same notification popped up and my phone sd words fine on my laptop so I googled it and seen a few different posts with people having the same problem and they said they reformatted it and it was fine for a few hours but has anyone found a permanent solution or is it worth going up to the Samsung shop? Posted: 25 Mar 2021 07:22 AM PDT I just noticed yesterday that the album app has lost one of it's buttons that they use to have on the bottom of the app when you load a picture up. There use to be a specific button to edit photograph's through clicking the edit button and all the cool camera effects would pop up and it would give you the option to Crop or resize your photograph's. It disappeared from my app's U.I entirely. What could cause that? Any idea what this issue could be coming from? Any feedback would be appreciated. [link] [comments] |

| My Data folder is now empty after updating to Android 11?! Posted: 25 Mar 2021 05:34 AM PDT So a couple of days ago, I updated to Android 11. The update prompt just showed up automatically, so I decided to just get it over with. Fast forward to a few days later when I check the /Internal storage/Android/data folder, I saw that it was empty. The Files app said that there are "no files" in here. But when I checked with my file explorer(FX File Explorer), instead of saying that there are "No Items", it says "Access was denied." Can someone please help me? I tried restoring data through Settings multiple times, but there is still nothing I can view in there. If it's relevant, my phone is a Galaxy A51. [link] [comments] |

The back up files are with extensions like .bk and .spbm and ,json etc. I am unable to open any of them because I dont have a samsung mobile any more.
