Can't update apps Insufficient Storage on Sony Bravia X9000H? Posted: 04 Feb 2021 01:12 AM PST I've moved all my data to a 16GB usb flash drive. I have 2.2GB of free internal storage. But I still can't update any of my apps??? I can install as many new ones as I want. But can't keep the already installed ones up to date? Extremely frustrating. any ideas? None of the services mentioned in the title work with the box. It's functionally less useful than a basic Chromecast dongle. No "Google TV" app on Google tv? Posted: 03 Feb 2021 07:32 PM PST Recently switched from a regular chromecast to the "Google TV with chromecast". So far, I love the remote and steaming is much faster than a normal chromecast.. But I have one issue, how do I get the regular "Google TV" app on my app list? If I use assistance and search for it, it opens, so it's there somewhere... I can even go to movies and find random movies that are from it, but I can't find the app to add to my home screen to just browse. Anyone else having this problem or am I missing something obvious? Sound bar disconnects from Bluetooth? Posted: 03 Feb 2021 05:16 PM PST I have a Sony A8G and was gifted a Samsung Bluetooth sound bar. It connects fine in the settings and functions normally BUT every time I turn off the tv it disconnects the speaker and then doesn't reconnect automatically when I turn it back on. I have to manually go back in to reconnect. Is that normal? Is there a settings that I can check to auto reconnect when the tv is turned back on? Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||

It's one of the cheaper Black Friday ones you would find at Walmart. It's got about 6gb of Memory in it and I can not get it to save anything to a Flash drive or Micro SD card. Mi Box S - Audio out of sync / delayed Posted: 03 Feb 2021 01:46 PM PST Hello, Recently I've purchased Mi Box S with Android TV 9. It works great but I have one issues that is extremely annoying - out of sync audio. My Mi Box is connected via HDMI to TV and the TV is connected via optical cable to my sound system. There is +/- 100ms of delay of audio as I can see lip sync issue. Previously I've used Chromecast with the same TV and there was no issue with audio. Any idea how to fix it? [link] [comments] | ||

Updated Hisense 50H6570G/HU50A6109FUWA after board repair and smartyoutube no longer works Posted: 03 Feb 2021 11:42 AM PST Hi just felt like sharing as stated in the title updated my hisense 50H6570G/HU50A6109FUWA after board repair and smart youtube no longer works. I was having black screen upon startup and freezing issues contacted hisense and after waiting for a looooong time they sent a board and a remote to a local car stereo company to come and replace. The original model was 50H6570G and after they replaced the board noticed model changed to HU50A6109FUWA. Installed smartyoutube it was working fine, then after a couple of updates no longer works. Deleted cache, deleted app data, deleted rebooted and re-installed app and still not working it shows subscription but never plays videos. I do have a pi-hole I've checked query but its not blocking anything even completely fisabled to se if it was related but it wasn't. I'm guessing on the update they did something to prevent smart youtube from working. Any ideas? [link] [comments] | ||
Changing volume using CEC without ARC enabled Posted: 03 Feb 2021 11:18 AM PST My Sony Bravia XH92 is connected to an Onkyo Home theatre system. I used to use ARC, but the sound would cut out when changing the volume too fast as well as at some random moments. Nothing too bad, it's ARC after all, I never really counted on it working flawlessly. I disabled ARC while keeping CEC/Bravia sync on and connected the sound through an optical cable. The sound now works perfectly in 5.1, and with CEC the TV and HT turn on/off together. I only have one issue, the volume: The TV displays an incorrect number for the volume. I can change the volume and the HT will change along (The numbers go up/down by the same amount, with some mistakes when you change the volume too fast), but once the number on the TV reaches 0, it doesn't go lower, even if the HT isn't on zero yet. When I use ARC the TV can read the volume of the HT, so why can't it now? Is there a way to either make sure the numbers are displayed correctly or just make sure I can turn the volume down indefinitely (HT will stop at zero anyway) without the TV limiting it [link] [comments] |
