Anyone using a new xbox series x/s controller on Android?

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 11:44 AM PST

Currently use the 2nd gen xbox one controller but I want to upgrade as the L1/R1 bumpers are hot garbage. I heard there were some issues with bluetooth connectivity at launch (mostly on Windows afaik) so I'd like to hear any feedback before purchasing :)

Good multiplayer game (quick games, community)

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 03:44 AM PST

    Hi,

I am looking for a good multiplayer game, offering quick games with a good community around (examples : clan system, tournaments, discussions etc) and a good balance for F2P players.

Not mandatory, but games playable with one hand are coming with a big plus.

    Any suggestion ?

    Thanks.

There used to be a game that I played on my android that it automatically came with. It's a turn based RPG like marvel strike force and Disney arena. I can't for the life of me remember what it's called but I want to start playing it again. Any help would be appreciated!

So I used to play this tower defence game, and it looks very similar to Infinitode, would anyone have suggestions to games which were similar? So I can check them out and see if they are what I used to play, cheers. Sorry if I'm not allowed to post this.

[REQUEST] A similar game to Flakboy and Ragdoll Achievement

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 01:37 AM PST

It has to be playable offline. Preferably Singleplayer. I do not care if it costs anything. I'd really appreciate it. I like those types of games, but I can not find any games as good as those two.

Searching for the name of a game [REQUEST]

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 06:17 AM PST

Hi I've been searching for the name of a certain game for a while now and decided to see if anyone else remembers the game.

    Info I can remember:

    • Card collecting game. • Rarity system with highest level being Mythic (Red) • Energy system • Pve and PvP • Combat consist of a grid where you have pre equipped cards. (No drawing cards during combat) • Different cards have different targeting. Triangle indicators similiar to this ◀️🔽▶️. • Amazing "realistic" art style. • Some cards can heal etc.

I tried going through my google play library of previously installed several times and had no luck. (Game developer might have removed their account and game no longer exists on play store) Please share if you have any idea for the name of the game or any other information.

    Best MMO/grind games?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 09:46 PM PST

Im looking for something like WoW or Destiny, mostly because of the loot loop around dungeons/strikes/raids etc, and running content with people over and over to get the stuff you want. Main two people seem to recommend is runescape and Shadowgun Legends, but Runescapr is just too much grind for the sake of grind and shadowgun only has one actual raid and is dead. Are there any good, non pay to win MMO's out there right now?

[REQUEST] What is the Best RPG for a Deep Magic System on Mobile?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 07:04 PM PST

I love playing RPGs as a mage, but all the mobile RPGs I have played have crappy magic systems.

They have few spells and I never have to use strategy when picking what spells to learn- there are typically a couple "great" spells that you must know in the character class that you pick with little strategy. Shallow.

So what game has the deepest magic system?

I'm looking for a game that:

    1. Has a lot of spells, and you get to choose which ones to learn (rather than automatically learning spells due to your character class).

    2. There are multiple, well-balanced pathways you can choose when picking which spells to learn.

    3. Combat requires at least some strategy, not just a hack-and-slash where you try to optimize your damage per turn or DPS. For example, spells with special stunning effects, protective effects, enchantments, etc. are prioritized and are a viable option over "just pick Fireball because it does the most damage."

    4. Preferably a quest-oriented game in an open world, like Zenonia, Exiled Kingdoms (omg I love Exiled Kingdoms), Gurk II/III, etc., but all game suggestions are welcome!

Thank you! Just looking for a great, deep magic system to get lost within! -The Lost Mage

Runestone Keeper is back! After being unavailable with "trial expired" message for 6 months, devs have now removed IAP and made it one-time purchase.

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 06:22 PM PST

Perhaps others won't be as excited as I am, but this game has been one of my favorites for many years and I was very hurt to see it not working anymore. But recently it started working again after the devs removed IAP and just made it a flat purchase. Now you get to play the first 5 levels and then if you want to keep going you have to buy it. Previously, you got two usable characters but could play as much as you wanted and had to pay money to unlock other characters and different game modes.

The game is quite simple and yet quite deep at the same time. Not to oversimplify it but you might think of it as Minesweeper on crack. As the game board elements are revealed you continually have to reevaluate what is the most optimal decision.

You start in a darkened dungeon made of grid squares and you slowly open them up and reveal different traps, monsters, items, shrines, and other elements.

Each monster has different attributes, some of these could be reflecting damage back onto other foes, debuffing you if you kill them directly, preventing you from healing, causing other enemies to resurrect, etc. So you are constantly trying to evaluate which monster to attack first, or if you should ignore them and try to survive on the next level, but of course that means you will forgoe gaining experience points and potential gear drops. You also have gear, shrines, Gods to worship, events, and so many more subtleties that are too various and nuanced to go into in this post.

Every move you make in this game has to be carefully evaluated if you want to win. There is an easy mode for casual play, the normal game is a quite a challenge, and then chaos mode is for the hardcore people that want to really grind out the decision-making process.

Runestone keeper was a seminal work in my opinion and has influenced many grid based games that came after it. But in my opinion, no other grid based game has brought me the satisfaction that Runestone Keeper has. Between Android and Steam, I have over 350 hours in this game and I have no plans of stopping!

I'm not affiliated with the studio, I just love this game, and I'm so thrilled to see it back in the store working well. I would encourage anyone to try it.

Here is the link for the Google Play store, please try it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have over the years: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cimu.runestonekeeper
