    Hi friends,

    So I'm working on an ambitious, open world, loot shooter taking place in the early days following a zombie outbreak just as society is losing control. Currently no name for the project, but its coming together pretty well. The game will be third person with first person zoom aiming. It'll have both touch and controller pad support. So far, it features over 250 discoverable guns, melee weapons, and items. Although not showcased in the screenshots as it wasn't my focus of development tonight, the combat system and zombie AI is already fully built as well. My goal is to make this a slower paced casual exploration game where the zombies are more a back drop to add intensity. It will have base building and survival elements.

    The goal will be to scavenge for supplies from a series of maps, each night returning to the player's home base. Every action you do while out will alert the zombies a little more, necessitating that runs be short or you'll get overrun with zombies. The further out you go in each map, the better the loot will be, but the longer you stay out, the game will throw more and stronger zombies at you incentivizing your return home to bank your loot. If you die you'll lose whatever loot you were carrying and the day will be wasted.

    The home base will be upgradeable. Every few nights it will be attacked by zombie hoards and must be defended. If your home base is overrun it's game over (necessitating that the player progress further and penalizing the player for not having successful scavenging missions). The player will need to meet certain goals before being rescued (how you beat the game). It'll be a combination of survival and resource management with an emphasis on building a small community.

    If those mechanics sound pay to win, they won't be. It'll be a paid game with no IAPs, so the mechanics will be challenging but fair (and will probably have different difficulty levels). It will be single player offline.

    Tonight I worked a bit on the weather system here are a couple screen shots so you can get an idea of the style. I do have the zombies already built and the general combat system working well, but the last week has been heavily focused on world building, environment, and optimizing world streaming so that the open world will run well on mobile devices. So far very happy with the way that the project is turning out.

    Anyways, just wanted to share some early screen shots and let yall know this is coming down the pipeline for those who are interested. Its probably still at least months out from being ready for release.

    I got 2 euros to buy a game

    Google gave me money idk why. But i can use it on purchases that cost more than 2 euros, i dont qctually want to buy anything and i cant use it on anything less than 2, so no 1.99, but 2 exactly.

    So i just want an actual game, that costs exactly 2 euros and it to be not a complete rip off.

    Do y'all know anything?

    I just replayed CaL after almost a year, and all I can say is that is one of the best mobile gaming experiences I've had in a while, if you haven't already, give this game a try.

    Samsung Galaxy S21 Series - Learn how to Improve FPS Performance in Genshin Impact and other Games!

    Hey guys so after a lot of testing and trying out different methods, it seems I finally figured a way to increase the GPU performance of the S21 series. I've tested this method with the Snapdragon (SD) 888 while my other friend tested his Exynos 2100 version, both devices improved in GPU performance. So what you'll want to do is basically install Samsung GameDriver from the play store, yes it does say it's designed for just the S20 and Note 20 series, but this GPU driver also seems to work for the S21 Series. Make sure if you have the SD 888 variant you install the Adreno version as this is the GPU for SD. The Mali version is the GPU version for Exynos devices.

    Nevertheless, with this GPU driver I was able to see a 14% improvement in FPS performance in Genshin Impact. The heat of the device also seemed a lot cooler! The device gets less hot when this driver is installed. Definitely check it out if your into mobile gaming and own any of the S21 series devices. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    PS: yes I know Genshin Impact is heavily un-optimized and needs updates. However, this is a workaround in the meantime 😊😊

    Playing Lowlander 2 currently. Are there any more games at all like any of the Ultima games? Looking through the play store is a test of endurance with the same gacha crap all the time. I do have emulators and access to the old games but didn't know if there were more hidden gems like Lowlander 1 and 2.

    Is there a steamCharts.com equivalent to Google Play Games?

    Steam charts is able to demonstrate how many players are playing online for games available in the Steam Store. This website is very helpful when I'm looking for a new game to play. Would be nice if Google Play had a similar API?
