Games with cross progression between mobile and pc?

    Posted: 23 Feb 2021 06:52 PM PST

I know of gwent, legends of runeterra, yugioh duel links and hearthstone. But that's about it. What other games are out there with cross progression!?

Looking for an RPG with loot.

    Posted: 24 Feb 2021 04:13 AM PST

I've been scouring the play store and top lists looking for a specific style game.

    What I'm looking for

    • random loot drops (weapons armor rings etc)
    • unlimited play (energy to keep playing)
    • no turn based games
    • No 2D team fight games
    • damage numbers
    • hack and slash

A good example of this would be the Zenonia games. Except the old ones are buggy on newer phones and the newest one lost the magic.

Some recent games that almost hit the mark.

    Dawn of Isles

This game seemed right off the bat as too involved. If I wanted to play a wow clone I would just play wow. It felt too involved like as soon as I saw I needed to craft multiple levels of axes to cut trees to make more axesI was done.

    Guardian Tales

This was almost perfect except the controls are kinda wonky. The character glirches on the wall when you are walking along side them and gets stuck. Makes it annoying when walking around in narrow passages. It was also kind of half map puzzle and half fight small groups of enemies. Then meet some random N0C for a short cut scene then repeat the entire process.

There were also what appeared to be energy requirements to open levels. It gave you a big amount over the cap to get you going which seemed like it would honestly last a whole. The cap was like 60 and I was at 700. So you would normally only get to use 60 a day before you had to wait for them to recharge. I hate recharging. Let me play the game as much as I want.

Other than that this game was pretty solid. The equipment system was not great but it was OK. Loot was low quantity but overall decent and felt rewarding. The zelda style maps seemed tired and unnecessary. That combined with the bad controls I felt like I was constantly running into stuff and having to reposition my thumb to walk straight.

    Nonstop knight 2

This was interesting cause you didn't walk the game walked for you around a map. It felt a lot like Diablo in regards to map and enemies. Honest had a decent amount of fun before all of the sudden I couldn't play anymore because I ran out of keys to open chests at the end. Shame.

So if anyone has any ideas about games like these I would love to hear them. I'm downloading everything I think is even remotely close. I dont care about graphics but for mobile I do prefer the more cartoon graphics like the games I listed above rather than a game like Diablo.

hello everyone, first i wanna start off by saying thank you so much for being so nice, months ago after publishing my game and getting 0 downloads i asked you for potential reasons and i got so many good advices that really helped me not to just improve my current game but gave me a whole other meaning for game dev that i will definitely help me in my future career.

Game where you train dudes with their own name and make them fight? Like DOMINA, but for mobile?

    Posted: 24 Feb 2021 07:49 AM PST

That's the core idea. If it's possible, I would also love to have it in a sandbox survival setting and more than just fight, your dudes can work too?

Need help finding a space sim!

    Posted: 24 Feb 2021 07:06 AM PST

I was browsing the Play Store yesterday and spotted a really cool looking space sim. It looked like a slightly more pixelated version of Star Traders, but in portrait view rather than landscape.

It has a solid rating (4.2, 4.4, somewhere around there) and was premium at about £2.29

Didn't have funds yesterday, gone to try and find it today and... Well, I can't remember what it was called and casual browsing isn't helping locate it!

    Anyone able to assist??

Looking for a game like Pocket Morty

    Posted: 24 Feb 2021 06:23 AM PST

    Hello,

I recently found pocket Morty and I absolutely love it (gave me that gameboy nastalgia). However, the game is dead. I love everything about it, especially the online mode.

Does anyone know a game similar to pocket Morty on Android that still has a healthy playerbase?

[Knights and Dragons] A game deserving a bit more publicity.

    Posted: 23 Feb 2021 11:26 PM PST

Okay okay okay, I get it! You see this low poly, strategy game and think wow such a cash grab. But hear me out: there is a lot of content in this game and the community is awesome. I have played many a phone game in my time and always end up back at the doorstep of this one. The issue is the playerbase is old and there is no publicity. So why don't we get some new blood in here! Give it a shot and if you need some more info feel free to gimme a DM!

    Thoughts on Toram?

    Posted: 23 Feb 2021 07:08 PM PST

I don't like it so far.

I don't play many games, and of the games I do play, they tend to be really simple ones like 2D platformers and racing games.

But after playing Epic Conquest 2 on mobile, I started to take a little interest in the rpg genre. I liked the characters and anime humor, as well as the hack and slash combat.

But then I finished it, (or rather, what's been completed of it so far.) And so I started looking for other stuff.

Eventually this led to me getting Toram, and honestly? I'm not feeling it.

The first red flag for me was the combat: It's automatic. Why? And why are the enemies so weak, and where is the dodge mechanic from Epic Conquest 2 I came to love so much?

    The graphics are dull.

I haven't made it far, but I can already tell you that I have little interest in the story.

The characters aren't all that amusing.

I'ce found myself just walking otrunning for long distances, which is such boring gameplay and exactly one of the reasons I have no interest or intention to branch out to triple a, large scale, open world games.

Another reason I don't is because I got lost for a good bit at one point. That might be moreso because of the terrible map, though. It's so small, and you can't even see the entire area you're in on it.

The chat system is terrible, as there's such a restrictive limit on what you can type.

I am already fatigued by the exp grind.

I uninstalled the game already. I'm trying to see if I should reinstall it and continue, if anyone relates to what I'm saying, or if anyone has recommendations for better options.

[Request] A small game that has a good Direct massaging system

    Posted: 24 Feb 2021 01:50 AM PST

I am looking for a game that have a good massaging system to chat with friends. I know rise of kingdom but it is too big.of a size , and Clash royale needs massively good wifi + needing to join a clan.

Is there any small sized games that you could just add a person and then start massaging? It is better if the game is available on IOS also.

If You Had Your Choice Between A Note 20 Ultra (SD865+, 128gb) Or S21 Ultra (SD888, 512gb), Which Would You Pick?

    Posted: 23 Feb 2021 08:15 PM PST

I'm literally torn between these 2 devices. Hoping to get some of your insights. As of right now I'm leaning more towards the S21 because of the larger storage and better processor. I'm mainly playing a few Android natives and a handful of emulators. Nothing extremely crazy so both phones could handle my daily needs.

I kinda like having the s pen on the Note even though I hardly use it. I love the smaller screen to body ratio, thinner form factor, sharper corners and most importantly the SD card expansion.

As for the S21 Ultra the smaller phone size makes it a little easier to handle. The upgraded camera is definitely noticable. The screen brightness and 120hz WQHD+ are great. And the model I have is 512gb storage, which is more than I've ever needed on any other phone I've ever had.

I'm super torn because I don't need 2 flagship phones. I've flip floped between the 2 at least 5 times. I'm my shoes what would you pick?

P.S. (first world problems, I know)
