| Can't see Developer Settings on J7 Prime Posted: 25 Jan 2021 09:03 AM PST I've made myself a developer long ago in my Galaxy J7 Prime(By tapping the build no. Ofc), btw, I'm on Android Oreo 8.1.0. But recently I've seen it has vanished. If I click on Build No. again, it still says I'm already a developer, but developer option doesnt appear, my only guess is, which I've guessed after seeing some videos on YT, is that it happens if you clear the cache of the Settings App itself. Maybe I've done it accidentally or someone in my family did it? I dont really know, but can anyone help me get it back pls? [link] [comments] |

| Did I make a mistake while installing lineageOS 15.1 + MindTheGapps 8.1.0? Posted: 25 Jan 2021 12:41 PM PST It's an ASUS Nexus 7 2012. I installed 'lineage-15.1-20200706-UNOFFICIAL-grouper' and 'MindTheGapps-8.1.0-arm-20180808-grouper' successively before rebooting while first wiping Dalvik/ART Cache, System, and Data. It boots, but Gapps don't work. I managed to enter playstore but only once before it froze and since then, I can't enter it no more. Here, they tell you to change filesystem from EXT4 to F2FS first and also to sideload the OS and Gapps instead of placing the zips in the root folder and installing from device. I don't sign in to my school email on my phone for this reason, and I'm quite privacy and security paranoid. Do I have any other options? Can I reduce the privileges on mobile device management? I've had an iPhone 8 before and now switched to an OnePlus 8T. - Is there any option to see/preview messages on your lockscreen? | Phone broke, google wants to use old phone for verification, but cant Posted: 24 Jan 2021 07:35 PM PST (FIXED - tried again and it gave me the option to text rather than device, and it worked this time!) My phone broke, screen is not responding, so I went and got a new phone today, try to add google account to it, and it asks to verify using my old phone... but I can not, I hear and see the notification from google but I cant click yes. There are no other options on the screen except to use my old phone, on my desktop I see text phone number and call phone number, but neither of these options are showing on my new phone. I confirmed I have the correct phone number on my account, and it is set to allow account recovery and password reset. Now my account is locked because of too many attempts... Any ideas?
