| Power Menu Controls, a cool app for the android 11 power menu shortchts Posted: 07 Dec 2020 07:23 AM PST Screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/vdA8DPc I just found this app today (not mine), it adds various quick control options to the power menu. For those of us who don't use google home accessories or have Google pay it repurposes the new android 11 to be more useful Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=balti.powermenu.shortcuts [link] [comments] | ||

| What's your opinion on pre-installed software? Posted: 06 Dec 2020 06:09 PM PST I'm honestly tired of it. I'm tired of my devices being full of pre-installed bloatware. It doesn't matter what device it is, it's bound to be full of useless and unnecessary apps. Especially if you have Sprint, they're notorious for it. If someone is spending over $800 for a single item, they should have the capability of doing whatever they please with it. These companies ask you to pay a rents sum of money to them just to have software that's covered and filled with advertising apps and bloatware. If the person wanted that app, they could simply download it themselves, they don't need it to be on the homescreen of their phone without the ability to delete it. You pay a month's rent for a phone (and also paying monthly for it), you should be able to delete or add whatever apps you want to it. Some company shouldn't control what you can or can't do with your own device you purchased. Not everyone uses apps like Facebook or Instagram, so that would be a great thing to be able to delete. And the majority of the apps people won't use, but they have to force people to accept it and have it on their device. That just limits the freedom you have with a device you legally purchased and are paying for monthly. [link] [comments] | ||
