[REQUEST] Turn-based strategy games with async multiplayer

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 08:59 AM PST

As stated, I'm looking for turn-based strategy games with asynchronous multiplayer. By that I mean games where one player takes his turn and then the next player has at least 24h time to take his own turn.

    To offer some examples:

    • Polytopia A perfect example. It is basically a very, very simplified version of Civilization, optimised for mobile. You can play with up to 10 people and have unlimited time to take your turn, even though it's technically possible to kick someone out of a game if he hasn't made his move after 24h.
    • Chess Tbh, if you don't know what chess is I have nothing to say to you.

I will be grateful for any recommendations, though as said, the major criteria is turn-based with asynchronous multiplayer. So please no slow-running RTS and such. The game can be buy-to-play, but ideally no subscriptions.

Any S20 FE users running a Razer Kishi? Having issues?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 07:05 AM PST

    EDIT: SOLUTION!!!!

I downloaded the Kishi app (Which I didn't know existed), and it prompted me to update the firmware of the controller. Once I did this, it works perfectly. No more crashes, and all the buttons register properly.

    Original post:

Last week I got an S20 FE. So far I like the phone, but it doesn't like to work with my Razer Kishi controller. The Up and Down D Pad buttons register as left and right clicks, so I have two buttons each assigned to left and right, with no up/down control.

In Emulators, this is annoying, and kills a lot of functionality, but Dead Cells doesn't even run. Whenever I press the D Pad, the game immediately crashes.

Important to note though is that an Xbox 1 controller works perfectly, so it's not an issue with all controllers. Also important to note that this specific Razer Kishi worked perfectly on my last phone, which was a Oneplus 7 Pro.

Has anyone else used this combo successfully? Or has anyone else had issues? I'm trying to figure out if I should reset the phone, but I don't want to do it if it won't fix it.

    [REQUEST] Class based pvp shooter

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 08:45 AM PST

Either first person, third person, even top down perspective is fine. Basically a shooter where you can choose a character with their own quirks and duke it out with others. It would also be neat if it wasn't overly P2W.

Need Help with a Problem with Facebook Linking on games in Android 10

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 07:20 AM PST

When wanting to link a facebook account it asks for "Accept cookies from facebook on this browser?" half of the pop-up takes up the entire screen, making it impossible to be able to hit accept (if there is any) on the bottom on android 10.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    thanks

One of my friend stated that 6gb ram variant of same phone scored more fps than 4gb variant of it and I think he's lying to me.

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 07:05 AM PST

One of my friend stated that 6gb ram variant of same phone scored more fps than 4gb variant of it , the phone is redmi note 9 pro , so my question for those who have used both 6gb/4gb variant of any phone is that is it so? Does getting 6gb one makes your game performance better?

I get that multitasking benefits from more ram , lets say sb is streaming his gameplay from mobile then it might be and even 8gb or more might be better for that , but when sb is only gaming does that matter? does it bring more fps/performance ?

Can somebody test it and make a video about it with a same spec phone with 4-6gb ram ? I'll share your video everywhere I could . Blind test would be better .

Fun not so power hungry game

    Posted: 04 Nov 2020 05:44 AM PST

I've been addicted to Spite & Malice recently, but I've found that it drains my battery quite a bit. Is there a casual replayable game that can be played in short bursts that's not so power hungry? I was originally going to ask for a card game but any thing will do really as long as it fits the above. Thanks

[REQUEST] Vertical RPG similar to Dragalia Lost

    Posted: 03 Nov 2020 10:14 PM PST

I like vertical games, and Dragalia Lost is cool but there are so many things to keep track of and the nature of the gacha that it stresses me out. I'm looking for an RPG, must be vertical, and no "single attack taping" roguelike games (I dont like Shattered Pixel combat). It can have gacha, just not so many systems in play at the same time. No idle games either. I like collecting and completing things. I liked post knight but it was too repetitive. Anyone have any recommendations?
