[DEV] Are you into Choose-Your-Own-Adventure games? Pack your spellbook and embark on a journey full of challenging decisions

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 06:28 AM PST

If you have what it takes to save your missing friends and stop the dark magic corrupting an enchanted forest you might want to try Sorcerun.

The path will not be easy. You will need to decide whether you follow the large road ahead, or the winding narrow trail to your right. Or maybe whether you talk to that grumpy-looking swamp creature or do you keep a safe distance.

Here is the link to the game on Google Play.

Your feedback is much appreciated! Thanks for your time

Looking for feedback on my new game: Unexplored Territories

    Posted: 18 Nov 2020 07:01 PM PST

    Check it out at https://unexploredterritories.com/

If anyone is interested in closed testing private message me your email so I can include you in the closed testing phase!

The game is playable on PC or mobile devices as of now via the website, but it will run slower than on Android natively because there's no LuaJIT support for HTML5 builds in the engine I'm using. However, I've tested on my LG G8X ThinQ and desktop (using i5 6600k and a GTX 1080) and it runs great on both. I would like to improve performance for lower end devices, but it may not be possible due to 1) the large physics based maps I'm using and 2) the number of physics entities on screen (which can be up to ~200 in my tests without any drop in performance on mobile.) So bring your high end devices and give it a shot!

[REQUEST] A good game that doesn't need a controller to be playable

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 08:28 AM PST

Title explains it. The top 20 android game lists always are just ports of pc games with badly optimized controls or you need a controller to actually enjoy. Want I want is:

    1. Not a port of a nintendo or pc game (I have emulators and an actual PC for that)
    2. Playable (and enjoyable) without a controller or terrible touchscreen controls
    3. Not an Idle or MMO style game

Any suggestions are appreciated. Night of the Full Moon is the only phone game I keep coming back to.

Is it possible to avoid the need for an NVidia Shield when trying to play games for it on normal android phones?

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 07:45 AM PST

Lets say i would want to try to install Doom 3 BFG or Portal on a normal android phone/tablet, but would need to tackle the problem of incompatibility. I know that gamepads are necessary, but what about gameplay itself? Do i need to have a rooted phone or can i just sideload?

    Kairosoft alternatives?

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 05:58 AM PST

I've played so many KS games and at this point I'm pretty much done. Kingdom Adventurers was such a demotivator for me to continue (too many f2p and premium currency aspects)

Any dev groups or game collections similar to kairosoft? Preferably premium without anti-consumer iAPs.

    Amazon Coins - UK

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 02:33 AM PST

    Hi all

I've recently found out about Amazon Coins (late, i know) and have seen lots online about being able to earn coins through downloading apps etc but these are all from about 6 years ago.

Is there anything we can do now to earn coins? I'm in the UK if that matters

    Thanks
