Lo-Fi Room is an upcoming part hidden object and part rhythm game about building relaxing beats

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 09:38 AM PDT

Lo-Fi Room is an upcoming hidden object and rhythm game from indie developer Bearmask that's heading for Android and PC sometime next year. The game was inspired by online study music channels that have become quite popular on YouTube in the last few years. Each level will consist of finding a series of instruments and then playing its rhythm game.

Once you've completed the rhythm game for a specific instrument, it will then be added to the song playing in the background. As you continue to find additional instruments it will layer them into the track. As you continue to build beats you'll follow the main character through their day, effectively creating the soundtrack to their life.

Much like the music channels it draws inspiration from, Lo-Fi Room is intended to be a relaxing and meditative experience that makes for a nice change of pace from most games out there. It's lovely music too, as you can hear from the embedded trailer above. Lo-Fi Room is heading for Android and PC sometime in 2021. If you'd like to stay up to date with development You can check a browser-based demo of the game here.

[REQUEST] Anime style RPG that is NOT turn based?

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 05:42 AM PDT

    @title

Sick and tired of turn based RPG games.

Played Witch Spring and Another Eden and I loved those games, but the turn based combat was always irksome.

Edit: lots of really good recommendations, thanks everyone. Genshin Impact seems to be #1

Looking for rts like clash royal/realm wars

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 07:30 AM PDT

I am looking for a tug of war like clash royal or realm wars.

    -no cartoon graphics

    -not p2w

    -can be premium or offline

    -less spells more units

    -not anime

I am unable to find anything through the literal sea of clash royal knockoffs that are all the same cartoony p2w mental asylum fest with chests and pop ups and lotteries poping up every 5 seconds. Just a realistic depiction of clash royal without the cringe cartoon graphics and more focused on many soldiers and unit count.

    Rome: Total War replacement

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 09:29 AM PDT

Hi folks, I'm currently looking for a game like Rome: Total War as it is saying that my new phone is incompatible despite being an upgrade to my last one. Does anybody know of any good medieval strategy games (Not games like Rise Of Empires, Forge of Empires, Clash Of Clans type games but actual military strategy games like the Total war series) I've tried Total War Battles Kingdom but that doesn't seem to be filling the void either.

[REQUEST] Game with interactions between friends and progress over time, we're 3 ready to play

    Posted: 04 Oct 2020 01:44 AM PDT

Hello everyone, I'm coming back to you once again. My friends and I are looking for a game where you can progress with your own account, and we really want something where you can do things with your friends. More than the usual idle where you give friends points and that's it.

Among US is really fun to play but it's 5 10 mins per game and we want something with progress and objectives over time to keep the fun in game.

We don't care about the style or genre!

One last demand, we're looking for a game where you can actually play more than watching your screen ( I'm looking at you Ulala)

    Thanks for the help!

Edit : I forget it but we hate p2w games and we'll avoid them as plague :)

Full screen on Note 10+ using remote play via Xbox beta app

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 11:54 PM PDT

Is there a way to force full screen? I'm using the remote play feature on the Xbox beta app and not all the screen is used. There's just black bar taking up about 1 inch of space.

I went into settings > display > full screen apps and made the app full screen but it still cuts off that little chunk

Best Android games you've ever played?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 10:32 PM PDT

IMO the best game on my Android device is BTD6, each map is just so creative with map-interactables and tower combinations work together so flawlessly, daily challenges and weekly events make the game have tens, if not hundreds of replay-ability.

Emulators don't count but if they would Drastic is incredible, playing DS games with zero drops in frame rate is frankly incredible, it's by far the most optimized emulator I've seen.

    Any turn based pvp games?

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 01:15 PM PDT

I remember playing a game called Heroes something something (generic name) where you could play several games simultaneously, just make your turn and react whenever opponent makes their turn. There were also factions like pirates and ninjas etc.

Is there anything similar on the market right now?

Playing Gamepass on Galaxy - Z fold 2, XBOX One Elite Controller issues.

    Posted: 03 Oct 2020 01:12 PM PDT

Hey there, I'm trying to play gamepass on a Galaxy Z Fold 2, with an XBOX One Elite Wireless Controller. The controller connects fine via Bluetooth to my phone, however when I run games, and press some buttons, B, for example, instead of the input being read by the game, they're read by the phone, and it takes me out of the gamepass app and opens up the app drawer, for example..Is anyone else experiencing these issues? I'd love to actually use gamepass, but it's making it impossible with this issue.
