Best MMORPG that doesn't have a bunch of crap to upgrade/manage? Posted: 11 Dec 2019 08:56 AM PST Title. I enjoyed Era of Legends the most out of the ones I've tried like World of Kings, Black Desert Mobile, Crusaders of Light, etc. I think games like those have some decent ideas, and look amazing, but they just cram way too much into the mobile experience. I literally can't play longer than 30 seconds without something new I have to claim/modify. Too many popup things happening. Click here, now click here, now claim this. Even after you get past the insulting "tutorials" you still have like fifteen different menus and currencies and crap to keep up with. Would love to find a similar game that dials it back a bit in regards to all the different types of currencies and skill trees and stuff you have to upgrade and manage. Obviously a little gear and skill management is to be expected, but I don't want a second job. Sometimes you just want to hop on and mindlessly murder some baddies without having a bunch of other "chores" to stay current (I don't mean quests when I say chores, I'm referring to character management and claiming things/managing side tasks, etc). I have no interest in managing some camp/base or having to upgrade 50 different types of things with 50 different types of currencies. Adventure Quest 3D is pretty solid but I'm just looking for other options. Any ideas would be appreciated. I know it's popular to hate on, but I'm really looking forward to Diablo: Immortal. Hopefully it has a little less of the aforementioned junk. Good non-grindy Hack & Slash? Posted: 10 Dec 2019 11:30 PM PST I like the agile and simple controls, and the gameplay of Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, but other than the pay2win aspect of it, I hate that I have to grind for infinitely more and more powerful items that trash previous gear, and all that rpg-grind aspect in the game. I like when games have minimal or no upgrades and instead sidegrades with pros and cons to tweak the playstyle. Like TF2 for example (not hack&slash but you get the idea).
