The problem is that I wanted to turn this PC into Android box for playing some games and running streaming apps but I failed. When I click any streaming app or my fouvrate game to run, it just hungs with no furture execution, and no error. What is the problem with my Android setup. Plz tell me. Is Android TV 11 Compatible with Nintendo Pro Controller w/ Gyro?

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 10:47 PM PDT

Hi! So there was a previous post on this but i wanted to specify the question a bit by breaking it down into two separate questions: (1) does Android TV 11 support the nintendo switch pro controller (aka can i connect to it via bluetooth, minimal latency problems, correct button mapping, etc.), and (2) does android TV support the Gyro functionality of the controller?

I've heard that Android 10 officially added support for the pro controller, but I was unable to determine if that support extended to the pro controller's gyro functionality.

    Appreciate the help!

    Android TV VM

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 10:36 PM PDT

    Hi,

I have a single PC hooked up to a desk with a monitor for work, and to a TV in front of a couch for Netflix, YouTube etc.

I use one of those wireless keyboards to watch stuff on the TV, but I've been facing some issues

I can't cast anything to YouTube, Netflix etc from my phone, and it really annoys me. Plus the video quality I get from a Shield which is in another room is much better on Netflix. Also the Windows 10 interface is kind of garbage compared to Android TV for this.

So I wanted to setup a VM, which runs on the TV, and I want it to run Android TV. I was reading a bit and it seems there are certain android x86 ports, but none for Android TV?

Would it be possible to run Android TV on a VM? Any ideas how I could achieve this?

One remote - the dream. Hdmi-cec newbie.

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 08:49 PM PDT

I am trying to make my new Nvidia shield tv control the volume on my new Linsar ls75uhdsm20 smart TV, so I only have 1 remote.

Both devices say they support hdmi-cec. Should hdmi-cec allow volume to be adjusted by the Shield? Do all the HDMI ports on the tv support CEC? How can I tell if my HDMI cable is the problem?

    Thank you kind strangers!

Already posted to the shield subreddit, but I'm desperate for help.

I can't seem to figure out how to stop fast moving objects on screen to stop flickering - specifically the ball when watching soccer.

Below is a list of my available TV and Shield settings. I'm not knowledgable enough to understand how these setting interact with each other. Any tips or advice that will save me from going through each possible combination is appreciated

I need help with my TV box

    Posted: 26 Sep 2020 11:12 AM PDT

Hi, I'm having trouble with my Android Tv Box. Basically, when I open the Amazon Prime Video app, I get the following error: "Cannot connect to service", followed by UNKNOWN_DEVICE_ID. So I can not watch movies or TV shows whatsoever right now. I even tried to stream videos from my smartphone to the TV Box by using the Airscreen app as cast receiver, but it won't let me play DRM-protected content. Is there any similar app to Airscreen(that works like cast receiver)? Paid apps would be fine too.
