Are the Android Bootcamp for developers content from the past year available to general public?

I am looking for content on Voice transmission over BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy - HOGP) material.

    Need suggestions please.

Left audio channel not working on Mi Box 3

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 07:34 PM PDT

Hello all. I hope someone could help me. I'm trying to connect my Mi Box 3 box to old Marantz amplifier via 3.5mm to RCA cable. I can't get both stereo channels working, only right. The cable is brand new and plugged all the way in. Very frustrating 😖

    For a 74 year old

Trying to find something with the simplest UI I can. If it literally just booted up to a file explorer, defaulting to the external HDD, that would be great.

    Criteria:

    • HDMI out - to tv
    • USB - for ext HDD
    • Ethernet - To transfer files to the connected external HDD from another computer on the same network
    • Remote - with as few buttons as possible
    • No streaming, no netflix, etc. None of that. Just a box that can play video files off of an external hard drive.
    • Dead simple UI for easily navigating and playing videos. It's fine if there's an "advanced ui" so long as it can boot up to the grandma friendly mode by default.
    • Plays any media format (not just H264/MP4)
    • Not made by Apple

Any way to read comics on an Android TV?

    Posted: 17 Jul 2020 12:12 AM PDT

I installed Tachiyomi but it doesn't respond to the remote control.

Kindly suggest if you guys are aware of any apps that work on TV or workarounds.

    Thank you in advance.

Anyone able to get Speaker group to work with their AndroidTV?

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:20 PM PDT

My shield non-pro still isn't showing up despite me side loading 1.47.216070 (the pro version is different apparently because the non pro is 32bit). Anyone able to create a speaker group for a faux home theater setup? Would love to utilize my extra google homes for rear firing speakers in the near future a la Sonos on budget

Any way to turn off screen? (Xiaomi Mi TV 4A on Android 9)

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 02:27 PM PDT

    Hey there.

I recently made the terrible mistake of installing the Android Pie update on my Mi TV, which took away the screen off function that was usually accessible through holding the power button.

Now I'm looking for alternatives, like apps or hidden commands or anything like that to accomplish the same feat, or at least significantly darkening the screen, without interrupting netflix or prime or whatever.

I'm not finding any app on the tvs play store, but I hope there's an app to sideload maybe?

    Any help is appreciated

So, I have no idea what's going on...

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 12:02 PM PDT

I recently bought an Android Box by the brand Andowl. On the box itself and in the main settings of it the space reads 64GBs available. Yet when I use an external spec reader or go to the Play Store it tells me I only have 10GBs available. Is there something I'm missing or is the brand just lying? Assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Can't remap Netflix button in TCL remote

    Posted: 16 Jul 2020 11:47 AM PDT

This is my remote : https://i.imgur.com/2Z2co1Q.jpg

I am trying to remap the Netflix button using button mapper app but when I try to add button in the app, it doesn't detect this button. Actually there are two buttons on white strip which are not getting detected every other button is working fine. Gave accessibility setting permission too. Any solution for this?
