These 3 apps have a transparent icon and alphabetically sit in the bottom of my list (there for I didn't notice them until today) . When I open them it says my Android's version doesn't support it or it opens the app settings . Is there a way to see where their files are ? It's been having problems for the last year. It repeatedly restarts or looses its charge really fast. I've had replaced the battery and it worked for a while before it restarted a bunch of times and died. I was thinking of just getting the same phone to save money. I gave my son the same exact phone and his still works perfectly fine. If I upgrade it, the phone won't be on the same plan anymore and it's just too expensive. However, I want to be able to find something that's better that won't die within 4 yrs. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 07 Jul 2020 12:15 PM PDT Recently I got a new phone and Verizon unlimited data plan, and it was going good (50-100 mbs download, 10-30 mbs upload) until I got home from a road trip. After that I couldn't use messenger at all to send texts, and somehow at times I could use chrome fine, and anything outside of messenger. I tried moving the card to the mifi to the same effect (fine download no upload) and I've tried everything short of a full reset. [link] [comments] |

Ethernet cable goes to a usb adapter which goes to a type c adapter. I turn off wifi before plugging in the type c adapter, but I don't get a notification saying that I'm connected. Its a right pain going into the SIM settings each day to enable. Is it possible to set this action as a settings quick tile? Would make it so much easier. [link] [comments] |

A staggering 14,1 GB of the 16 GB total is used by system and user files, as indicated by the Smart Manager app. I've tried dialing *#9900# and deleting dumpstate/logcat, which did absolutely nothing. Apps take up only 1,6 GB, pictures 53 MB and music 2,9 GB, so I'm guessing it's some huge log file or something that I cannot easily or intuitively access. Does anyone know what to do? | Phone getting hot while charging, never happened before? Posted: 07 Jul 2020 08:07 AM PDT I have had my phone since 2018, so it has been roughly 2 years. It has a very fast-charging feature. I've noticed that suddenly, it has started to become warmer than usual, during charging. Now, I do know phones get a bit warm while charging and that's normal, but for my phone, that never happened before. It went only up to 70% from 3% today, and became pretty warm. The mobile network connection won't stay connected when data is enabled. It connects to LTE, and in that very instant, the whole radio restarts and the process starts again. This **** started after some recent Ota update, can't remember which. Strange thing is, when it cycles, it takes out wifi with it. Both apps recognise the apps I have on the phone and show the required updates but will they download and install nope. Worth noting that I have allowed download for both apps in the settings. I have some photos in my gallery locked away on my LG G6 that are no longer accessible. They seem to be locked. I think my phone kicked me out of my hotmail account and now I can no longer log into it via the gmail app. The error message that pops up says ' Couldn't find your google account.' Im not sure exactly on model but I believe it is a tmobile huawei ascend II based on some pictures I found online. I dont remember the pin/email i used originally but sadly I dont think that adb was ever setup on it and its only got stock recovery since I never rooted it or anything like that. It was last turned in 2012-2013 I think, so it might not be updated all of the way but I believe its before android 5 based on the UI. Is there a way i can bypass the pin or determine more information which would help me track down a way to open it? Id prefer not to wipe the phone because I think it may have some old family photos on it that Ive since lost the backups of and this would be the only place they might still exist on. edit: I popped the battery out and it looks like this is a tmobile prism made by huawei edit2: I think it is running android gingerbread based on the lockscreen [link] [comments] |
