Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales arrives on Android later this year

    Posted: 10 Jul 2020 06:00 AM PDT

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, one of the most popular RPG games, has finally made its way to mobile. The game offers dedicated touch-screen controls that are well balanced and well designed for a handheld platform.

Thronebreaker takes off as a single campaign for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. And just like every other Witcher game, Thronebreaker offers a multi-dimensional world, characters and it is choice-driven.

With an android release scheduled for late 2020 this year, the game has already arrived on the iOS Platforms. You can read more details about the game here

    Warning: PXN P30S Firmware Bricking

    Posted: 10 Jul 2020 05:11 AM PDT

I'm a retailer of PXN hardware in Singapore and recently I've had numerous complaints of bricked PXN P30S controllers due to the app's firmware update. Searching for information online was futile so here I am posting about it, which hopefully will save a few innocent controllers.

Updating firmware for the PXN P30S using PXN Play app instantly causes the controller to freeze up. The reset button will not work and it will be stuck as shown in the photo below

    https://imgur.com/KVABLeJ

So a word of caution to all buyers and owners of this controller, DO NOT update the firmware.

I'll be sure to update when the supplier returns with a solution

Looking for RPG with highly tactical combat

    Posted: 09 Jul 2020 06:46 PM PDT

Is there an android/web browser RPG that has very tactical combat mechanism where when 2 units engage they will block, dodge, parry or hit "cinematically" (this being the key word) based on their stats or dice roll/RNG? Could be real time, but preferably turn based.

    Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a game that hooks you in and keeps you opening it up everyday?

    Posted: 10 Jul 2020 06:06 AM PDT

I've been trying different games, but I've found nothing that hooks me in and keeps me opening it besides Hungry Shark World which I play for 5-20 minutes a day, 1 or 2 runs, Clash of Clans (I know... But I like progression, and what hooks me into video games in general is progression - so in this seeing my village grow) and Pokemon GO which I use for walking with.

Can anyone recommend any games, preferably free, which hook you in and keeps you opening it daily. E.g. contests, daily rewards, etc to help along with the fun gameplay + progression. As I mentioned, it has to have a decent progression system where you go from fairly weak/small, and grow stronger and unlock more things which will benefit you over time. I'm not really looking for story focused games, since I've got my PS4, 3DS and Switch for them, so a game that's more run based, simulation, action, endless, points based, etc.

I've tried games like Dragalia Lost, Fire Emblem Heroes, etc and I really want to get into them, but the fact that there isn't much difficulty early on + the temptation to just gold orb 1 or 2 characters to max level is massive. But I don't mind gacha games either, it's just one with decent progression + doesn't overload you with everything at once. Thanks in advance!

    Looking for specific game

    Posted: 10 Jul 2020 10:02 AM PDT

I remember playing a dungeon crawler in the past, I forgot what it is.

Its an fps with realtime action. Its a bit 3d but really pixelated type. I remember it starting with D but short

Its one of the games I enjoyed years ago. Nostalgia kinda hit me I guess.

**Found it, it was Delver. Sad its not being updated anymore.

[REQUEST] I'm honestly already sad thinking this game is no longer available... (Roguelike genre)

    Posted: 09 Jul 2020 08:41 PM PDT

Edit: it's Hero Siege!! I remember it quite poorly, not gonna lie... anyway, thank you guys, specially u/raptir1

So, let me try to remember as much as I can here.

First thing, it had pixel graphics and was an action-RPG Roguelike. It had different worlds during the playthrough following the same order.

I remember people comparing it to "Dark Souls' level" regarding difficulty. I think it has classes to choose/unlock and it definitely had varying rarity drops, which could make your runs waaaaay easier, but was always challenging.

I remember trying to go/force builds depending on what I had. Also I kinda remember taking shitloads of damage from traps on the floor.

If adding worlds' description helps, there was one where you would transverse through train rails between platforms in a cave-y/mining site and another was kind of a wasteland with some snow and tree stumps around. Not much memory of the others.

And there were definitely bosses after a few maps cleared. Think bosses on world 1-5, world 2-5 and so on.

I am really sorry for how this is written as I'm trying to make sense out of memory flashes.

If this rings any bells, I would be surprised honestly. Thanks for your help!

Looking for super casual "puzzle" games

    Posted: 09 Jul 2020 11:50 PM PDT

I've recently been playing a doctor who '2048' style game, and Ive been craving more mindless games in that style. Not match 3's but not something I can "beat" per se. Toon blast, candy crush and all those are played out. I enjoy 3's but only in short bursts. Hole down is another game I've been playing and the brick breaking ball accumulation is fun.

    Any suggestions?

Searching for MMORPG like WoW or other good MMO's

    Posted: 09 Jul 2020 11:45 PM PDT

Hi guys. I know this question is getting asked alot, but I seem to not find the right games in the previous posts :D

I'm currently not at home and do not have my computer with me for a long time and so I am searching for a good MMORPG which is worth it's time to play on my phone.

I would love to play a WoW clone, but World of Kings just doesn't feel right. The fact, that mobs do not drop loot and you just get loot as quest rewards isn't nice and I just feel that leveling up is happening too fast. Or am I wrong about that? Correct me pls. In Era of Legends your character doesn't change appearance when getting new armour and I really, really don't like this fact.

I'm not afraid to invest some money in the game, so P2W or P2P is NOT a game-killer for me.

Are there any other good WoW clones or other good (themepark) MMORPG's that support real MMORPG-mechanics, like loot-drops from normal mobs, change of character appearance when changing gear, collecting of pets/mounts/gear, that are worth to sink alot of time in? Maybe also some in which leveling up is not as easy as in WoK?

Been playing WoK, oldschool runescape, Order and Chaos 1 & 2, Rangers of Oblivion, EVE Echoes, Albion Online, Dawn of Isles, Villagers & Heroes and some other games.

    Please no anime-styled games.

    Thank you! :)

Long haul community based games like Orna or Hades Star?

    Posted: 10 Jul 2020 12:47 AM PDT

Are there any others like these that are "long-haul" games excluding idles and gachas? Games where everything you do is a slight progression but all the while you're getting bigger and better.

    Hey Guys,

I got into Gacha games from the One Punch Man Road to Hero game which ended up being pretty meh and now im currently on Summoners war. But a thought went through my head, that Atlantica online would be the perfect mobile game, and it was one of my favorite MMOs bac in the day.

Can you guys think of any game that is similar?
