Google Play Movies Issue

Got Nvidia Shield Pro yesterday. System and Google Play Movies app fully updated. I attempt to play my purchased movies via the app, screen goes blank for about a second then returns to the app. Can cast movies without any issues. System has a wired connection and no issues with any other app / service. Have removed and reinstalled the app but still no joy.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Shield controller

Hi I have a Nvidia shield tv pro 2019. with the new shield controller. I am trying to charge the shield controller. It's been charging for an hour now and the percentage has not moved. How long does it take to change the new shield controller? do I need to have my Nvidia shield tv pro 2019 on to charge the controller or no ? Thank you very much
