    [REQUEST] Game like Bloons TD 6 or Kingdom Rush games or Moba

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 10:41 AM PDT

    Hello, I'm currently dealing with bad pain and I'm pretty picky when it comes to games. I'd like something with strategy and some action, with cute graphics and the potential to be played for a long time.

    I used to play Clash Royale but got tired of it. Played Minecraft and Stardew Valley, got tired of it too. Currently enjoy bloons TD 6, Kingdom Rush (tower defense as well. Thank you

    Looking for a game like solitarica

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 09:22 AM PDT

    Hello, I would like to find a game similar to solitarica but perhaps something with more of a deck building aspect to it? Doesn't have to be solitaire themed.

    Or perhaps a deck building card game kinda like MTG that's on the simpler side and isn't totally pay to win. I tried Gwent and wasn't a fan of the playstyle. MTG seems to be too overwhelming to me.

    Just looking for something to play casually that could hold interest longer term? I don't mind paying for the game, i just dont want it to be P2W where you have to spend hundereds to be competitive.

    Will GTA:SA ever go on sale?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 05:26 AM PDT

    I was waiting patiently for it to be on sale but it seems that the price is stuck on that 7.99€. Is there any chance of going on sale anytime soon? Any special date for Rockstar to do so?

    Disclaimer: Yes, I know the game is excellent and worthy even at full price but times are hard....

    Looking for this one in development souls-like game

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 06:33 PM PDT

    I believe it was posted here a while ago, it had similar aesthetic/gameplay to Dark Souls and had an orthographic perspective with low poly graphics? Can anyone figure out the name or link the post?

    EDIT: Forgot to mention, it was portrait mode and you were able to draw patterns of spells in order to use them

    [REQUEST] Simple games for elderly

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 03:01 AM PDT

    So now that we all have to stay home, my parents and older aunts and uncles are getting a bit bored. I want to recommend some games to them to try out. It doesn't matter if there is some paid version or in-app purchase, I will just buy it for them if I like it.

    I think mostly puzzle games will be recommendable, but they need to be easy to learn, quick to pick up and not have too many parts. My parents don't really like any story or level tree (that blocks progress), they just wanna play stuff.

    I've been suggesting them stuff like this:

    I also tried to give them other games that they found too difficult or boring (but I could still recommend to others:

    So what games do you recommend to your parents, grandparents, older neighbors, uncles and aunts? And what would you recommend I get my parents to try?

    [Request] Looking for short-session games, any recommendations?

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 02:35 AM PDT

    So I'm getting a new phone delivered (OnePlus 7T) in a few days and I was wondering about game suggestions for it? I've never been too big in gaming on mobile - I tend to play certain games up to a week before forgetting and inevitably uninstalling, but I'm willing to get into them if I can find the right games.

    The only game I've really gotten into is Pokemon GO, but then I treat that as more of a lifestyle rather than a game. I'm more of a Switch/3DS gamer (and a bit of PS4), with the likes of Pokemon, Rune Factory, Dead Cells, Musou Warriors games, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona 5, etc.

    As you can see, some genres I'm really into are Action, RPG, Strategy and Simulation, less so games like Angry Birds, Candy Crush, PVP games, etc. I've tried idle/incremental games like Idle Miner, Cookie Collector 2 and Egg Inc. but I tend to fall off after a few days. And I tried Clash of Clans but I'm not keen on the whole Clans idea (I almost exclusively play single player games, besides Pokemon.)

    I'm mainly looking for games that don't have a massive story since I have the consoles for those, and can be played, for example, for 10-20 minutes when you wake up and not touch it until the following day. I'd prefer free games over paid, and I don't mind gacha mechanics, emulator games, new/popular games or IAPs, as long as the game is playable without paying a penny (as in, progress locked behind money and not time.) Hope you can help, hope everyone's staying safe, and thanks in advance!

    Looking for a game I used to know.

    Posted: 09 Apr 2020 02:26 AM PDT

    Gameplay-wise it was pretty simplistic, you were a triangle either racing or doing time-trials through a variety of courses, rarely with some puzzle elements. You had 3 controls - rotate left, rotate right, and boost forward.

    The game relied heavily on 'drifting' mechanics - you went faster the closer your rear side was to a wall without you running into one.

    Thematically, the game is kinda sci-fi. There's a story element where you're introduced as a bit of code, working for an AI gone rogue or something like that (it's been a while, maybe it calls you a 'ghost' or potentially a 'runner'.)

    As for visuals, you're a simple white triangle, the level backgrounds were mostly black, while the courses had neon walls and some colourful obstacles.

    Edit - how do you add a request flair? I went to add flair and absolutely nothing cake up.

    [Request] Looking to recall an old glider game

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 10:01 PM PDT

    Hope this is the right place for this. I can't recall the game title, but you piloted a glider and did missions and as you upgraded your glider you could get farther from the starting island, go into more challenging areas (one had a pyramid, if I recall correctly). It was really cool and my searches have revealed nothing. Anyone recall anything like that?

    [Request] FPS game with gyroscope aiming?

    Posted: 08 Apr 2020 09:21 PM PDT

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a FPS or shooter with accelerometer or gyroscope aiming.

    I've tried PUBGM and Critical ops, it's good but i'm looking for other games.

    my criteria would be:

    1. has accelerometer to control view movement and aiming;
    2. offline or multiplayer would be fine;
    3. third person or first person view, no isometric;
    4. can be paid or free

    Thanks
