Best video player - no stuttering Posted: 16 Mar 2020 01:09 AM PDT Forgive the long post. Just bought a new Sharp 4K. I've connected my USB drive and setup DLNA. I've side loaded VLC, MK player, Kodi and Plex but they all stutter. VLC is the worst. The inbuilt player is the best but doesn't have any features like move forward or backward. Also it struggles with 4K video. What does the community recommend? Also I'm considering a NAS or Mini PC to stream video but not until I get satisfactory playback. Thanks in advance [link] [comments] | ||
Android tv stuck at upgrade and won't turn on Posted: 16 Mar 2020 05:29 AM PDT My android tv is stuck on upgrading. When I start tv, it shows samsung logo, then few seconds of android is upgrading app and then it shuts down automatically. I'm not able to reach settings option or even hard reset option by pushing (mute+1+8+2+power) buttons on remote. No matter what I press, it stays on the same upgrading android screen for few seconds and shuts down. It doesn't do anything else. Does anyone has any suggestion? What can I do to fix this problem? Not able to view frame rate in Fire TV Stick 4K on Android 9 TV Posted: 15 Mar 2020 09:44 AM PDT Hi, I had bought VU Premium Android TV 43OA last October and it was on Android 8 and whenever I used to plug in my Fire TV Stick 4K and used to go to HDMI 1 option on TV it used to Display Fire TV Stick 4K 2160p @ 60Hz and when I turned on Match Original Frame Rate to On Prime Video content used to play in 24Hz,25Hz or 30Hz whatever video used to support but there was an issue with Dolby Vision on Netflix as I was getting complete flickering on it so manufacturer replaced my TV with an upgraded model they launched few weeks back. Now the new model VU Cinema T(43CA) whenever I am going to HDMI 1(Fire TV Stick 4K) it displays Fire TV Stick 4k, Dolby Audio, 2160 UHD only not the frame rate, and when I am switching Match Original Frame Rate to ON, and playing the video still it doesn't display any frame rate info and keeps displaying Fire TV stick 4k, Dolby Audio, 2160 UHD and I am feeling that the video is playing in 60 Hz only and there's no smoothness as expected or that I used to get, could you let me know if there is any way to see the frame rate on HDMI bar because I have searched all TV settings and found nothing and how can I fix this issue. Posted: 15 Mar 2020 06:04 PM PDT I have two MiBoxes that I got when they were 50% off. I know that the Nvidia is the high end unit - but I am curious what exactly it does better. I am pretty darn happy with the MiBox - but that Nvidia is on sale right now - so just maybe I'll upgrade. [link] [comments] |
