Posted: 14 Mar 2020 03:39 AM PDT Hey guys, Today I bought a Mi Box S and without digging first, I updated straight away without knowing the issues this version came with. So far everything has worked however Netflix only shows content in HD, not 4K (4K logo is not present). My TV comes with Netflix and YouTube preinstalled, I thought my Netflix partner could have changed the subscription type but nope, I can still see 4K HDR content directly from the Netflix app on my tv, but not through the Mi Box (which is a bummer since I wanted to use it for all these apps) is this a known issue? Does any of you know if there's a fix? Thanks. Edit: Nevermind, fixed it after unplugging the device for 5 minutes (HDMI and Power Supply cable) and after restarting the device showed the 4K HDR in all applicable shows. [link] [comments] |
| Mi box s Kodi won't display 4k Posted: 14 Mar 2020 03:48 AM PDT The settings on the box is set to 4k 60hz and can play Netflix 4k perfectly. I can also play 4k local files without any issues with Kodi. However I cannot set the resolution within the Kodi app to anything else than 1080 which probably means I play 4k material with only 1080p output Does anybody know how to fix this? | Posted: 14 Mar 2020 03:25 AM PDT Hi, not related purely to android - but still my device is an android tv Bought a TCL ES58 - https://tcl.com/content/tcl-eu-site/en/new-product-list/es58/32---hd-hdr-tv-powered-by-android-tv.html It is supposed to be a half HD TV or "HD ready" - 1366x768 However I connected my PC and it shows as 1080p for HDMI devices My question is where is it up to 1366x768 ? the antenna? anything within android? My IPTV app shows full HD for some channels and SD for some others - how do I know if it's really showing in HD (not that I care too much) [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 14 Mar 2020 06:32 AM PDT Hello, I'd like to remap the Google Play and Netflix button from the remote of my XF9005. I installed button remapper and did exactly so, but unfortunately the original functions are called as well. When I press the NF button both NF and Plex open. I read here in the last paragraph that this could happen and was wondering if there is a workaround (the article is 6 months old, so who knows). Couldn't find anything related, so I hope somebody can help. [link] [comments] |
