| Sunday Rant/Rage (Mar 08 2020) - Your weekly complaint thread! Posted: 08 Mar 2020 04:11 AM PDT Note 1. Join our IRC, and Telegram chat-rooms! Please see our wiki for instructions. This weekly Sunday thread is for you to let off some steam and speak out about whatever complaint you might have about:
Rules 1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer. 2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user's issue, please leave a comment but be sure it's constructive! We do not want any flame-wars. 3) Be respectful of other's opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is "wrong" you don't have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. Disagree politely, and move on. [link] [comments]

| Posted: 07 Mar 2020 05:40 AM PST Hi everyone, for the past couple of years I have been working on a new reddit app called React for Reddit which focuses on some key areas: ease of use, powerful features, performance, animations. I have decided to release the app in beta to gather feedback on what should be focused on. I would love to hear your feedback on it! Have a look at the features bellow: Features
Screenshots:https://imgur.com/gallery/dKdBHII Why another reddit appI created React for Reddit to be able to provide a more intuitive UX than most other apps, whilst also being rich in features. Navigation is meant to be fast. Swiping is being used as the primary way to navigate. The main screen allows you to swipe between posts/comments/browser, similar to Relay for Reddit. You can swipe on a post to upvote, save, or open it in the background in a new window, Opening multiple windows at once is one of the major features. If you're short on time, you can simple browse through posts and swipe on a link to open it in the background in a new window. Alerts allow you to subscribe to a search query or subreddit to receive a notification when new posts appear. Similarly you can subscribe to the comments of a post, and receive notifications when someone comments on that post. As a user with an older phone, I have optimised the scrolling performance to be the best of all reddit apps. Beta statusThe app is currently a very early WIP and should not replace your main reddit app. Certain parts are broken, buggy, or not implemented. Examples include replying to messages (not implemented), sidebar support (partially implemented). However it can be used for more casual users without any problems. FeedbackThe best way to provide feedback is by replying here or posting in /r/ReactForReddit, so that others can vote on it and chime in on discussions. But you can also message me or provide feedback on google play. Downloadhttps://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.innercirclesoftware.reddit [link] [comments]

| LG has no plans to release the V60 ThinQ in the UK Posted: 07 Mar 2020 07:03 AM PST I tweeted LG UK on the day the V60 was announced, they've just replied confirming they have no plans to release the phone in the UK which is pretty disappointing. One less flagship option for the UK, especially annoying considering it was supposed to on the sightly cheaper side of things. [link] [comments] | ||
