| 4.91 GB free but apps will not update due to "insufficient storage" Posted: 10 Mar 2020 06:31 AM PDT So, two apps on my old Galaxy s4 will not update. The Sims Freeplay and Facebook. Both of which error out stating that there is insufficient storage. However, when I go into the storage settings, it shows 4.91 GB free on the device, NOT counting the SD Card. There is 2.1 GB free on the SD card. Google Play Store is giving errors about there not being enough storage but NOTHING could be further from the truth! Does anybody know what the problem could be? As of yesterday, even after dismissing a text message notification, the notification sound will repeat every 15 seconds. The only way I can stop it is by rebooting the phone. A few months ago there was a similar thing with Galaxy phones getting a push message from Samsung saying "1" and not doing anything, due to a slip-up on their part. Now it is to the left of the time and instead says "Tue. Ma..." instead of "Tue. Mar. 10". If I open widget settings it shows it the old unclipped version. How do I change it back? | Recover photos from an old phone Posted: 10 Mar 2020 11:07 AM PDT So my old phone got some essential pictures I need bit the display is kinda broken, it does display correctly but it's smashed and no touch response. The battery doesn't last for more than 5 minutes unplugged. Model: Moto x style Root: not rooted Android: pretty sure it was marshmallow USB debugging: enabled I tried connecting a mouse though ota cable and it works but the battery usually dies out after initial boot. Posted: 10 Mar 2020 10:52 AM PDT Hi, I was a Mate 20 Pro user and loved the feature that I had a small button on the bottom nav bar that allowed me to drop the notification bar and collapse it back again with one tap. It was on the right of the multitask button. I just received my S20 Ultra today and it doesn't have it. It does have the "swipe anywhere" feature to drop the notification bar, but it's not the same and I'm very much used to the previous solution. Is there any chance to add that to my S20? An app maybe? When I change the volume, it changes it both on my phone and TV, so can't just mute my phone. I can mute the TV but the sound of my phone isn't in sync with the TV due to the delay. | LG Spirit hard brick out of nowhere Posted: 10 Mar 2020 06:28 AM PDT So a year or two ago my mother's phone randomly started having kernel panics and we decided to get her a new phone, now, i managed to make the phone semi stable, it ran fine and i managed to play a few games on it, although it stopped seeing the 13th wifi channel. Then out of nowhere it decided to hard brick itself over night. No matter how long i hold any combination of buttons it won't turn on. It won't even vibrate. The only sign of life is when i connect it to my PC as an "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". I opened up the phone and checked for anything that might have shorted but with no luck, as it was perfectly fine and clean inside, no damage marks. I'd like to know what's wrong and how to fix it. | Samsung Galaxy s8 FRP lock removal Posted: 10 Mar 2020 03:47 AM PDT So i bought a Samsung Galaxy s8 from ebay for $50, put on a new screen, back glass and battery. Turned it on and I was faced with the google lock account. So i texted the ebay seller who was the original owner and they said "it was my wife's phone and she's sadly no longer with us". Obviously this is very sad news so I said sorry and stopped texting them. Now I have no idea how to remove it. I have already tried to use Odin but I couldn't find the correct files. It's a SM-G950F if your wondering. So if anyone knows how to remove it with a low cost or free method on how to remove it as i have already spent enough money on restoring this phone. | Audio equaliser for Facebook Live Posted: 10 Mar 2020 09:32 AM PDT Hi there, Im getting into streaming my music over FB live. I have my instrument connected to my 1 output mixer, connected to a USB sound card, connected to the USB port on my Xperia. Only problem is the audio turns to dogshi* on the stream when i turn the audio up on my mixer nice and loud. I tried using an app called "USB audio recorder pro" to EQ the music, but as soon as i go live it doesnt work. The red "live" thing just does not advance. It just freezes my stream indefinably. Is there any software tool to EQ the audio for facebook live? Its just not the same when i have to stream my audio at a quarter of the volume i normally would. [link] [comments] |
| Help with minor (missing??) settings! Posted: 10 Mar 2020 05:44 AM PDT Device: 10.or (tenor) E Android: 8.1 I did a factory reset to get rid of a pesky virus opening ads on my browser. Since then the network speed is showing in the status bar and all my contacts are shown twice. I can't find the settings to change that back anywhere. I can't find any custom rom for this device either. Also, sometimes phone calls being received show an extra "00" at the end for some reason, making it an invalid call back everytime. But I've found an issue when pairing two separate earbuds, i can't get them to both play. The touchscreen is completely black & not responding to my touch at all. I have already removed my SIM cards and my SD card but I have some really important files in my Internal storage that I need to transfer/recover. Need help extracting files & app data (if possible) present in the Internal storage of my broken phone. This matters when flashing a ROM, right? In recovery mode it shows: LRX22G.A300FUXXU1BPF1 and on the box it came in theres: ART code: SM-A300FZKUNEE and "A3LSMA300FU" Could this be used to figure out which one it is? [link] [comments] |
