    Good idle games

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 10:01 AM PST

I'm looking for a satisfying idle game to play. Not something simple like cookie clicker where you're just watching a number go up, but something similar to Idle Heroes. I'm looking for a game where your active play involves managing time and resources effectively, playing maybe 10 minutes or so every few hours.

I was really enjoying idle heroes with its collection/merging system and unique heroes, but it's hard to feel any kind of connection to the leaderboard in a game where they create a new server every few days. Seems to me like that would partition the playerbase way too much.

Any suggestions for the kind of game I'm looking for? Or questions about my preferences for more information?

    Ultra fast games

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 08:02 AM PST

    Hi,

I have seen Sage Solitaire or Hexroller as very fast games that can be played in less than 2 minutes. What other games could you recommend that are fun and played under that time? Any kind of game....

    Thanks

    Fer

    History of Idle Games

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 11:17 AM PST

Looking for a 5+ player game where you don't need everyone online at the same time.

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 10:43 AM PST

Me, my Sister, Brother, Mum and Dad live across the country and play games like Draw Something and Words With Friends alot. We're sending replies slowly throughout the day maybe sometimes every other day if we're busy.

We normally just play alot of 1v1 but boast on the family wattsapp as its very rare that we're all on at the same time.

I'm looking for something we could all play, but slowly over time. Something quick enough to play when any of us are free but with a bit more substance, so we get a feeling of achievement for the amount of time we actually put in.

    Thanks in advance!

Any good step tracking games? Looking for step motivation

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 06:43 AM PST

Does anyone know a good game that focuses on getting you walking more? I'm looking for something that gives you a reason to get 10,000 steps or whatever instead of making it an arbitrary goalpost. So maybe hitting 10,000 steps gets you enough points to add something to a simulated town or something like that.

    Looking for mechanically demanding games

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 04:42 AM PST

I'm looking for mechanically demanding games with controls that don't make me really wish I had a gamepad instead. Mobile games I'm thinking of that fit this that I've liked before include Tiny Wings, Tilt to Live, and Super Hexagon. Bonus if there's no annoying IAP bullshit/no insane grind. Would appreciate any suggestions!

    AI dungeon is on Android

    Posted: 07 Jan 2020 10:58 PM PST

AI dungeon is a Text based RPG completely ran by and AI. Where the text based RPGs are normally restraining in the options that you can choose(such as walk forward), in AI dungeon you can do practically anything and get a response from it. Want to break your finger and use the bone to stab your grandma's eyes out? It's possible. There are some issues where the ai has troubles distinguishing characters and sometimes can loop but the game is pretty open ended and is quite fun if you get into it. There are also 5 different random scenarios with a theme (fantasy, mystery, apocalyptic, zombies, and custom) so you can play to your heart's content. I just built an atomic bomb because my farm was failing, what will you do. Also not the dev, but I just love this game

TL;DR AI dungeon is on Android and it's a ton of fun so download it

What is your all time favorite mobile game available now?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2020 07:48 PM PST

I love gaming on my phone but I'm seriously stuck in a rut. I need some new titles to try and am pretty miserable ch open to anything.

Here's a list of a few of my recent faves: Polytopia, cook serve delicious, bricks and balls, two dots, rollercoaster tycoon classic, favo.

That's what I've been playing lately. I'm also playing merge dragons but it's getting stale. I don't mind paying for games as a one time payment but I'm not big on the micro transactions in this one.

So what do you all think? Is there anything you'd recommend? The only games I discount right out are most card based games as I never got in to MTG or Pokemon or anything so I have no clue how they work and they are too confusing.

What do you consider console quality games?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 04:29 AM PST

There are a lot of console quality games in the Play Store. But the definition of console quality itself is not clear.

My end game is I want to create a list of console quality games. That's worth playing, and worth finished. Let's ask ourself a question, how much Android games do you ever finished?

I remember back in the day, I proudly finished FF Series in PSX Emulator on my Pc, or in the Dawn of Android, I finished Asphalt 7, Assassin Creed.

As of right now, it's very hard to find a game that you can actually Finish.

So, what do you really consider as console quality games?

What to play after Eve Echoes?

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 10:29 AM PST

Eve Echoes' beta phase is ending, and I guess the game won't get back online before mid-2020.
Is there any other similar game that I could play while waiting for that? Every other game feel extremely bland after this.
    I don't mind if it's premium.
Also up for similar concept even if not a space universe.
    Many thanks!

[Request] Good co-op games for gf and me

    Posted: 07 Jan 2020 01:22 PM PST

Curious about android games that my gf and I could play together without having to play in real time (we'll get around to spaceteam when we can). Words with Friends got old about a year ago. Something like a city builder that we can dip in and out of whenever we have the chance, or even turn-based combat could be fun. I'm a more experienced gamer than her, so a game that wouldn't throw her in the deep end would be ideal. A bit tough to find something just by searching in the play store. Thanks for your ideas!

The sequel to Abyssrium is out

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idleif.abyssriump

I've only played for a little over an hour so far, but so far, it ain't bad. The progress is a bit slower, and relies more on an active game play compared to the first game from my experience. So far, a few features from the first game is missing, including decorating your own "aquarium" (although, that feature may be unlocked later, as I haven't played too long). All in all, if you enjoy idle games, or enjoyed the first game, I'm sure you'll enjoy this one as well

    Video review for mobile games

    Posted: 08 Jan 2020 05:17 AM PST

From my own experience I know how hard it is to get your game seen by people. About a year back I was trying to do marketing for my own game and found it incredibly hard to find reviewers for mobile games since most people only review PC or Console titles.

Has this changed since then? Do you know of good youtubers who specialize in this field or other forms of getting your game reviewed and seen by others? If there are plenty options then let me know, because I'm playing around with the idea of starting this myself to get more new games seen by people by creating review videos.

If you're interested in getting your game reviewed then please send me a dm, I'm curious to see how much of a need there is for reviews.
