A collective list of flash games ported to mobile Posted: 16 Nov 2019 08:50 AM PST With Adobe flash player being discontinued next month, I feel like now would be a good time to start looking for ways to relive some of the classics. First and foremost, this list is definitely far from complete so if you know if a game and it's not on here please leave a comment and I'll add it to the list. Dolphin Up - a more fleshed out port of Dolphin Jump. You play as a dolphin and you jump. Stuff gets weeeiiirrrd. Fancy Pants Adventures - The first two fancy pants games as well as an entirely new game. Extremely smooth platformers. Ninja Kiwi's games - Bloons series as well as SAS zombie assault 3 and 4. Bloons is a very in-depth TD and SAS zombie assault is a top-down zombie shooter. Kingdom Rush - I remember the first one at least being available on kongregate for a long time. Another quality tower defense game. Canabalt nearly identical to it's flash counterpart, just with some added obstacles. Flashy little office-worker-trapped-in-an-apocalypse-em-up. Solipskier -same as the flash game. It's an arcade skiing game where the objective is to draw hills with the objective of gaining speed and making combos for those sweet, sweet, points. Samorost 3 - sequel to The first two games, which were flash-based. Gorgeous, wholesome adventure game. Line Rider - just like the good ol days. You draw some lines and a guy rides em. 10 Bullets and 10 More Bullets - just like the originals. You have ten bullets which you shoot at ships above you with the intent of making the biggest chain reaction possible. Armor Games - I think every game they've published was originally a flash game. Lotta gems on here. Plague Inc. - pretty sure there's more content than the original. Fun little pandemic-em-up Powder Toy - there were a lot of games similar to this, but this has the most content afaik. Like Ms paint if gravity and elements were a thing. Amateur Surgeon 4 - don't remember if the 4th one was available for flash but I know the first 3 were. You do the surgery thing to people. Amateurly. Enchanted Cave and Enchanted Cave 2 Rusty Lake (the developers) - has almost, if not all, of the Cube Escape games. You're in a room and you gotta get out of it. Right now this is all I can remember off the top of my head. Please comment whatever I missed and I'll add it to the post. When I have a bit more time I'll probably format the post a little better too. [link] [comments]

[Request] Survival base building game? Posted: 16 Nov 2019 04:16 AM PST Looking for a relaxing stat management exploration game. Something like Astroneer or rust without other players. But not Minecraft because I'm bored of it. 3 key points: - Survival: some form of survival, me needing to manage something, food, water , oxygen, temperature etc. - Base building: something where I have to gather things to build my base - exploration: a large or infinite area I can explore and build me base on . Could be difficult but perhaps people know of something in beta or just not well knows game similar to what I'm trying to describe. Thanks [link] [comments]

4 Quick Tl;Dr Android Game Reviews / Recommendations (Episode 127) Posted: 15 Nov 2019 12:24 PM PST Happy to be back after I was ill last week :) As always, I covered 4 mobile games this week, and this post is my documentation of what I think about each of them. This week, I played an arcade space shooter with Tetris-like bullet hell gameplay, a top-down Battlelands Royale competitor, an idle shooter RPG based on the Zombielands movies, and an Archero alternative with permadeath. Disagree with my opinion? Let's have a friendly discussion below. New to these posts? Check out the first one from 126 weeks ago here. The games are "ranked" somewhat subjectively from best to worst, so take the ranking for what it is. Here be the games:Utilizer Deluxe [Game Size: 50 MB] (free)Genre: Shooter / Arcade / Space / Tetris-like / Bullet hell - Offline Playable Orientation: Portrait Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Utilizer Deluxe is an arcade space shooter that mixes the shoot 'em up bullet hell genre with...well, a Tetris-like match-3 system. This is indie gaming when it's best - you really can't compare this game to anything else ;) As we play through the game's many levels, our spaceship shoots automatically, and our goal is to shoot incoming enemies while moving quickly to pick up blocks of similar colors until 3 matches, which rewards us with points. Although less hardcore than a typical bullet hell game, I love the hectic multitasking gameplay (shoot while you stack blocks), and the many permanent upgrades keep the game interesting. The game monetizes through occasional ads, which can be removed through a $2 iAP, and more iAPs to immediately get more in-game gold. Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Zooba [Game Size: 316 MB] (free)Genre: Shooter / Battle Royale / Top-down / PvP - Requires Online Access Orientation: Landscape Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Zooba is a fun top-down battle-royale (think Battlelands Royale) with a variety of different heroes to play as, each of which uses the weapons found throughout the map in slightly different ways. Fortunately, we also seem to be playing against actual other players in the game's 20-player matches (as opposed to bots), the controls are responsive, and the matches are perfectly bite-sized, at 2-4 minutes each. Each hero and equipment piece grows stronger the more we level it up, which requires getting more of the same hero or equipment piece through lootboxes that are rewarded through gameplay and can be bought through iAPs. This does make the game pay-to-progress faster, but everything can still be grinded as a free player, and I haven't run into any over-powered players (yet). Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Zombieland: Double Tapper [Total Game Size: 173 MB] (free)Genre: Idle / RPG / Shooter - Offline Playable Orientation: Portrait Required Attention: Idle tl;dr review: Zombieland Double Tapper is an idle shooter RPG that has us defeat endless stages of zombies across the US with a squad of heroes. The game features quite a bit of content, and is reminiscent of CloneEvolution in style. The game does a decent job at incentivizing active play through special zombies that can explode or freeze other zombies if we tap them manually, and through a relatively fast progression speed, which means there's constantly stuff to upgrade and improve. As we move from city to city, all hero levels and equipment levels reset while permanent power-ups stay, which on one hand keeps the game fresh, but also makes it slightly repetitive. Monetization allows us to pay to speed up progress, but there's never any need to spend money as long as you enjoy the (idle) grind. Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Dungeon Break [Total Game Size: 269 MB] (free)Genre: Rogulike / Dungeon Crawler / Archero-like - Offline Playable Orientation: Portrait Required Attention: Full tl;dr review: Dungeon Break is a roguelike dungeon-crawler shooter where our character only shoots when we move using the joystick - not unlike Archero - just slightly less polished. During each play, we get to switch weapons and upgrade them as we play, and between permadeaths, we can buy permanent upgrades using the game's single in-game currency, which is earned through gameplay or iAPs. The game is fun and without any forced advertisements, but does crash occasionally and has slightly bugged text here and there. Overall, it's not as high-quality an experience as Archero, but it's a worthy alternative if you're looking for one. Google Play: Here YouTube First Impressions / Review: Here Google Sheet of all games I've played so far (searchable and filter-able): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bf0OxtVxrboZqyEh01AxJYUUqHm8tEfh-Lx-SugcrzY/edit?usp=sharing TL;DR Video Summary (with gameplay) of last week's 4 games: https://youtu.be/wHSFWvbF7cU [link] [comments]

Are there actually an games like what Homescape/Gardenscape advertise? Posted: 15 Nov 2019 09:22 PM PST *Are there actually any games like what Homescape/Gardenscape advertise? When I saw the advertisement on YouTube, it seemed like a cool and interesting concept. But when I downloaded it, it turned out to be a candy crush knockoff. I'll get over it, it's just a dumb mobile app. But it has me curious, are there actually any games similar to what they advertise? A game with situational plot progression where you proceed based on how clever you are and which items you use? I know I could always hop on my console and play a real game, but I need something simple for my phone time. [link] [comments]

Posted: 15 Nov 2019 04:25 PM PST Does anyone know of any games on android that are both Air Sims and managers? Something to the effect of Real Flight Sim mixed with Airline tycoon? Something where you would have to create and manage your airline as well as be required to actually fly from airport to airport similar to how airline commander is but more open world and with more management features. Also any games more like AirportPRG and World of Airports, those two seem to be in a league by themselves but open to recommendations. Thank You [link] [comments]
AAA Games available on android? Are there any? Posted: 15 Nov 2019 07:35 PM PST Basically, I'm asking if there are any High-Quality games made by serious developers. Stuff you might expect to have seen on a PSP or other handheld consoles or better. I'm currently looking for any to play, and reccomendations would be greatly appreciated. Do note that i'm asking for offline games, so online superstars like PUBG and the like don't help me much. To clarify, these are examples of the types of games i'm looking for. (Examples in graphics: Not too important, engine, gameplay, etc) - Chaos Rings Series. - Animus: Stand Alone. -Ark: Survival Evolved. - Dead Effect Series. - Deus Ex: The Fall. - The Sun. - Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. - Jade Empire. Games like these. If you Know any, could you leave a comment here? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
Looking for long term game to keep me busy throughout the day Posted: 16 Nov 2019 01:16 AM PST I've played csr2 and it was perfect, both offline and online with events. But the racing got boring. It doesn't have to be racing, I enjoy most genres. I tried soul knight which also does it well. [link] [comments] |
