[REQUEST]Looking for a merge game without timers. Premium welcome.

    Posted: 09 Jun 2022 09:28 AM PDT

    Single/Multiplayer: Either!

    Genre: Preferably fantasy or sci-fi

    Online/Offline: Either

    Monetization/Cost: Premium or inobtrusive mtx

    Portrait/Landscape: Either

Key Features: Merging to make ever bigger things, preferably with a quest system and/or rpg elements

I'm playing Medieval Merge right now and I like the mechanics and art, but the timers are killing me. Timers on item production, timers on energy, timers, on timers on timers. I want a merge game I can play near infinitely. What are your favorites?

Really fun game from years ago?

    Posted: 09 Jun 2022 10:04 AM PDT

Hey all, I just recently remembered a game I have some serious nostalgia for and would love to play again. It was a 2D side scroller where you play as one of four characters. They all had Greek or Egyptian-sounding names (I believe one was Osiris, they all sounded like ancient mythical gods though. I believe they also each had their own stats i.e. stamina, health, speed, etc). The point of the game was to kill the other characters (who were NPCs) by throwing bombs at them, hitting them with a sword if you got close enough, etc. In the game, you had a certain amount of energy each turn and you could use that to walk slowly towards or away from characters, and the land or ground you walked on could be destroyed. For example, there were several types of explosives in the game and they'd blow a giant circle in the ground where they exploded and you could trap other characters in those holes sometimes. Sometimes there would be multiple platforms on a level, so you could blow up the ground beneath a character and he'd fall down to the next level. The game looked pretty cool as well as the background was bright red or blue and very pretty and well-decorated, while the platforms you played on and I believe the characters as well were fully black.

I used to play games on an old Android phone of mine, but I also had an iPod touch. I can't remember which one it was, but I figured I'd come here and ask if anyone remembers anything like this. It was probably about a decade ago or so that I was playing this game. I'll update this with any more info I remember, but honestly, if there are *any* games like this I'd love to give them a try because I had so much fun with this one. Thanks for your time!

I am thinking of trying stardew valley and DOOM. Is mobile doom worth playing? I enjoyed it on PC but I am worried about the controls.

[REQUEST]HacknSlash (like Diablo, with PvP content if possible)

    Posted: 09 Jun 2022 01:09 PM PDT

    Multiplayer

    HacknSlash

    online

if possible not 2 p2w heavy

I like cartoon style but also other stuff.

Looking for character lvling, PVP, variety of classes, weapons, abilities. Something like Diablo, but since Diablo immortal is so p2w heavy I don't want to play it anymore, even though I liked it initially.

Has P2W, P2P, and Loot Boxes destroyed the quality video game experience?

    Posted: 09 Jun 2022 01:04 PM PDT

Remember the days where you would buy a video game for Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Gameboy, GBA, Sega Saturn, PS1, N64, Gamecube, ect?

Where you would buy the video game and that would be it until a sequel would come out? You wouldn't pay anymore and enjoy a full video game that would require skill, luck, and time to beat and complete if not be at least entertained and inspired.

    And that would be it!

Not only that the video game itself would be a masterpiece of art, imagination, and sometimes a great f*cling story.

Don't get me wrong there are a lot of ports of console classics on mobile and games like Stardew Valley, The Room, and Evoland.

But the majority of what people play and also what makes the most money is the P2P, P2W type of games on mobile.

    Google Play charts most grossing:

Bingo Blitz, State of Survival, Raid Shadow Legends. Clash of Clans

Pokemon Go and Roblox cater a lot to the low spending player, but the vocal failure of GoFest and the most played games on Roblox say otherwise.

    Looking for a game

    Posted: 09 Jun 2022 12:22 PM PDT

Hey! I've had a game that I've played a long time ago on the back my mind, for a really really long time. The game consists of a penguin on an adventure, and the gimmick of the game was the visuals, the interface looked like a social media. It seems to be a very specific, because it is, But I wanted to know if any of you know the name of the game
