| Cannot transcode AAC to AC3 in Kodi Posted: 25 Apr 2022 05:56 AM PDT So I have a Mi Box 4k with Sony HT-RT3 receiver, connected with the Toslink (SPDIF) cable. I came to know that Kodi can convert AAC (or any format) to AC3 on-the-fly. My receiver only supports AC3 through optical cable. All the right settings are on still the conversion is not happening for some reason.
Local AAC files through Kodi, and audio from Youtube addon for Kodi still shows as LPCM in the receiver. What can be the problem? [link] [comments] |
| I Turned My PC into ATV9, I can't go back help Posted: 25 Apr 2022 05:16 AM PDT So Yesterday I turned my laptop into ATV 9, I completely delete the windows system and now my default boot device it's Android TV. I created a USB device with windows 10 but I tap F2(my laptop is Lenovo)but nothing happens ATV just loads I can go to BIOS(UEFI) I change my boot priority but it changes automatically (I tried every F key)I don't know how to go back to windows please help sorry for any grammar mistakes [link] [comments] |

I am from Costa Rica and want to change my JVC 4k tv very disappointed in general with image quality and the system performance... Here in my country the options are very short and you don't have many brands however in past year I saw in Walmart and other places tvs from TCL, Motorola and Xiaomi. The best cheap QLED is the C715 55" version around $710, I think this model is from 2020, but you think is a option for the price? Someone have this model? Any advice will be helpful. Thanks. So looking to replace the Roku's with Android TV devices but don't really want to pay $200 each. What are the best Android TV options with USB playback that aren't too bad on pricing. If I am playing Spotify on another device (speaker, laptop, etc) but have the Spotify app up on the tv, will I be able to control it in a similar way that casting works on laptop/phone? | How Do I Legitimately Screen Mirror on Android? Posted: 24 Apr 2022 12:19 PM PDT I have a Samsung Galaxy A21 and an Onn Roku TV and I want to screen mirror but I can't actually find ways to do so. The only things that I could find are play store apps that make you have to go into the app itself, go to the browser and go on whatever I'm watching, click a play button, connect to the app on the TV then it plays, back out then repeat the entire process. I don't think I can select an option on my phone to screen mirror and the process is pretty inefficient, so if anyone has any apps, apks or ANYTHING please let me know, if u have to please send me to other sub reddit that might be able to help. I have experienced one small inconvenience though: My TV is not connected to cable / satellite, I am just using it for Netflix, Prime and live TV over the internet. Every time I switch it on it says no signal or searching for channels and I have to press home on the remote to see the home page. | [Help] External hard drive connected to android tv causing receiver to turn on and off constantly Posted: 24 Apr 2022 06:53 AM PDT So I have a Sony Bravia X90CH , and an Onkyo tx rz 810 and I have an external hard drive WD 1TB Black My Passport Ultra connected to the Bravia that seems to stay powered on even after I turn off the tv. The problem now is that my receiver continues to turn off and on due to the external drive being still turned on even after both tv and receiver are turned off. I know it's because of the external drive because I just disconnected the external Drive and the receiver stopped turning off and on. So now I know it's due to the external drive being still on and active even after the tv and receiver are shut off (I can see the blinking light of external hard drive after tv is shut off) that the receiver gets a signal somehow from the external drive and turns itself on and off. I have the developer settings available on my Sony Bravia tv just in case anyone knows of a particular setting that could help me with this issue. Maybe like a setting that fully turns off the external hard drive once tv and receiver are turned off. Any advice would help. I have a lot of apps installed on external drive that are needed on the Bravia so I'd much rather keep the external drive plugged on rather than having to disconnect it and reconnect it every time I wanna turn on and off the tv.
