    How to update Android TV?

    Hello, so I've got my first TV running Android TV (Nokia Smart TV 5000A). It runs Android TV 9 and I wanted to ask if there is any way to update to the newest OS version (I guess Android TV 12?) or am I stuck on the preinstalled OS version? Thank you in advance.

    Can modern Android TV sticks replace my DuneHD TV-303D?

    My current DuneHD TV-303D functions as media player. It supports various formats that I can throw at it. I am going to buy a MeCool KD3 Android TV stick. I know there's a huge cpu speed and ram improvement, but how about media compatibility? If I install VLC in the Android TV stick, does it make the Android playback everything which my Dune support?

    ONN 4K Box questions

    Sorry for the likely dumb questions, but I'd appreciate the input.

    I have a couple different Fire devices, but I'm unhappy with the interface and some of the features, so I was wondering how the ONN box compared.

    Can you control the volume on bluetooth headphones with the remote control?

    Can you pair more than one set of headphones simultaneously?

    Can you use a USB drive as Internal Storage, via ADB or other ways?

    Can you remap the quick action buttons on the remote?

    Any video codecs that it has issues with?

    No problems using custom launchers as your Home page?

    If you've got experience with the ONN Box and Fire devices running FireOS v6, is there any differentiation that you feel is worth mentioning?

    Mecool Km2 issue

    I just got this box a week ago. Sometimes when I use the remote to bring it out of sleep, the box will vibrate and the TV screen will flicker/flash. It's also happened after the box was completely turned off and I push the on/off button to turn it on.

    Any way to fix? Time to return? Thank you

    Changing keyboard on YouTube/Netflix app

    My parents are from Hong Kong and they never learned Pinyin so they can't type Chinese with the keyboard offered by the app.

    I managed to connect the phone to TV and use the remote control function to use the hand writing function from the phone but it doesn't work with YouTube (and Netflix apparently). Is there any way to choose keyboard in those apps or another way for my parents to handwrite?

    So, I've found the app on my TV is bad audio, a bit tinny and hollow. However, it works fine through Chrome cast. How can I get it right on the TV app? The TV audio doesn't have any surround sound turned on.

    My older Chromecasts had this issue sometimes, it would run at a substantially lower bitrate on primarily YouTube but others as well. It wasn't about my internet connection, it was stellar.

    Now that I have a Realme 4K stick I find myself checking that the quality on YouTube is set to 4K if available.

    Where to download android tv version of APKs

    Hey everyone! I feel like I've exhausted every avenue so I'm a little desperate as I post this. Is there any site / method I could use to download the android tv version of a particular app?

    I'm looking for a streaming app that's free, to install on my Firetv. I've got another android tv in the house and the app is on the store by default but installing the mobile/tablet version (which is a different version no.) of the app doesn't run well on the fire tv cause it's designed for touch.

    Came upon Yalp store but apparently it's shutdown, so I'm hoping the peeps over here can be of help to me.

    The streaming app is local to Singapore, not sure if it's available internationally. Aptoide does not have the app, it's called meWATCH

    Connecting the Firestick Remote, and Android Tv from TCL

    Now, I know I've seen many YouTube videos where it shows how you can connect the fire stick remote to a Roku version of a TCL TV. I tried looking at that same YouTube for the Android TV 40 CL and I notice that the settings her connecting the remote to a TV is much different.

    Does anybody have a TCL Android TV and knows how to connect a fire stick remote to the TV Based on from their experience?

    Hey guys I recently came across a bug with the Onn. UHD/4K box's latest update and it seems other people are seeing it as well. HDMI-CEC is broken on Samsung TV sets after installing the 4/08/2022 update so last night I decided to do some digging to find Onn. support online and it turns out, it's mostly just contacting Walmart's customer service. There is NO, I repeat no Onn customer service portal for their streaming devices despite what people might say online or you might get from a Google search but there seems to be at least one direct way to contact them: a Facebook Messenger profile page where I assume you can contact the Onn. social media people.

    CCWGTV suddenly stopped recognising USB-C hub after restart?

    I have tried everything so far, from unplugging it to factory set to safe mode but it seems like ccwgtv won't recognise the hub (I have tested the hub with my pc and mac and it works well).

    The hub has allowed me to wire a webcam and Ethernet connection since I bought it 6 month ago.

    WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? it been two days I've tried anything. any thought??

    TCL Android - Auto Scans, detects 150 channels, then doesn't save them

    Help!

    Have a TCL 55 C715, that costco told me to do a reset on to address another issue. Anyhow, long story short... now going to TV - asks me to scan - auto scans and you can see it finding channels, but then when it finishes clearly doesn't store them and says No channel found.

    Confused. have firmwared this to no avail, and various reset types. It is running Android 9,

    Any clue???
