    How can I disable the annoying #WatchwithMe feature which shows you some celebrity's picks and takes up an unreasonable amount of space on the TV screen?

    App to replace CCwGTV remote?

    After about a year of usage, the remote of my CCwGTV no longer works perfectly – specifically, the UP direction of the 4-way wheel on top only works once in a while, and when pressed hard.

    I know one can buy a replacement remote, but until I get that, is there an (iOS) app version of the remote? Like there's a Philips Remote app for my smart TV, or a remote app for Apple TV?

    Mibox 4 and Wechip remote

    Hi, I have a mi box 4 android tv box and wechip w1 remote. And I'm trying to use that box without the original mi box remote. I needed to buy an app to configure the "back" button properly, but I can not use the power button on the remote. So I can not make it woke up or sleep with wechip. Do you know the setting or app to configure it?

    Unfortunately Flo doesn't have an Android TV compatible version and not sure if the tablet/phone version would work. However they do have a Fire TV version. Was thinking of side loading the Fire TV version onto my Android TV.

    Hello all! I have the latest version of Google TV, installed Plex successfully and can watch my local server movies successfully.

    I would love to have the Google TV movie lists include my Plex videos as one of the ways to watch. I've hunted through all of the settings and cannot figure out how to make my Plex library a part of the choices.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Problem with mecool km2 and New Xbox Wireless Headset

    Hello, I recently got the mecool km2 and loving it so far but i tried to use my xbox Wireless headphones to test atmos sound but once I sync the headphones all YouTube videos with atmos and 4k start to lag and the sound have interfierence..There's something wrong with the atmos sound with this device?

    Using FreeviewPlay apps without aerial

    I have recently bought a Sharp C40bl2kf2ab and was looking forward to using TV apps such as iPlayer and All 4 on demand due to not having an aerial. Having tried to access said TV apps I have been given the error code FVP-300 (I believe due to their link to Freeviewplay, which I am unable to setup due to no aerial to scan for channels). I have seen older posts following similar issues, but was wondering if there was a round this?

    Note: I live in a rented basement flat and have tried plug in aerials which aren't able to gain any signal.

    Looking for an ADT-2

    Hello,

    I have an ADT-2, and have been working on porting LineageOS to it like we did for the ADT-3, but given it was a limited supply device not sold to the public, having trouble sourcing one/two of them beyond the one I have.

    Anyone have one I could buy off them? Willing to pay shipping & the cost of a similarly spec'd device.

    Youtube problem

    Noticed this recently. Any videos on YouTube which is uploaded with 60fps refresh rate, the resolution on TV is maxed out to only 720p. Videos on YouTube which isn't uploaded with 60fps and on 4k, the video plays in max resolution.

    Any advise on how to fix this will be highly appreciated.

    Nvidia Shield Tube alternative(not pro version)

    Hello all! Been using Nvidia Shield Tube version for over a year now, and im tired of the 4K stuttering and lag. I want to buy a new device and the pro version is to expensive.

    What is the best alternative for high bitrate 4K remux files? CCgtw? FS 4k Max?

    Turning off new Sony Bravia TV (A80J) using Google Assistant Speakers

    I had a Sony Bravia x90F (Android TV) before, telling my Google Assistant to "turn off the living room TV" will turn it off.

    With the new TVs that I got, A80J and X90J, you have to use Sony's cloud services for it to talk to your assistant speakers.

    The trigger phrase is "Hey Google, talk to Sony's TV". Then a bell will sound which means the assistant speaker will now wait for the next command, where you can control the TV (turn off, volume up/down, change source).

    I don't know why they did this, I honestly think it is stupid.

    I am ok with using the remote to turn it off, it's just because of this "feature", I can't turn off the TV anymore as part of my (Bedtime) routine. Before I would just say , "hey Google, goodnight" and it will pretty much turn off everything (lights and TVs).

    Am I missing something? Is there a workaround? Hoping for sugestions.

    Shield tv pro vs onn 4k box?

    Is the shield pro worth the price? ($200)

    or the onn 4k from Walmart? ($20)

    Like what cool or nifty things does the shield pro do that the onn doesn't do?

    (I don't have a 4k tv)

    I like using Kodi and the diggz netflix clone build with Real-debrid, express vpn, tivimate, hulu, TeaTV and im looking for some more free or cost effective iptv playlists for tivimate..

    Hey,

    I know this has been asked a couple of times here, but so far, hasn't been answered. In short, I want to be able to filter youtube videos (mainly for sort by date), because looking for keywords and limiting date to newer stuff yields me far better results than the algorithm currently does.

    I have SmartYoutube Next Beta installed, but it doesn't do that. There have been (old) requests on github for filters and this pops up a bit, but in the end, it doesn't seem that anything will happen soon.

    Normal youtube app doesn't give me filters, freetube is just Win/Mac/Linux ,youtube vanced is for mobile not for tv. Closed thing to success was just using Firefox on android, but this thing doesn't get updated, the youtube site is kinda broken and I can't log into my account, but at least it let's my filter videos. Obviously this is very clunky and I would much prefer something app-like.

    Is there like *any* other possiblility to be able to filter youtube videos just with the remote on android TV (while using youtube account)?

    Installing APK is obviously not an issue but I have no idea what. I really don't get why adding filter is such a taboo topic?

    Tcl P715 4K QUHD is very slow after boot

    Hi everyone.

    I have started experiencing an issue with my 3m-old TCL TV running on Android TV. The user interface loads very slowly (up to a minute) and the apps do not work correctly until everything is fully rendered and loaded in the UI. If I open Netflix straight away, it just loads the logo - I either have to wait for the system UI to load first or I need to close an app and open again. Have anyone faced this issue? I am not having any third-party apps (only Netflix and Plex installed) and I have done factory reset. Running on the latest update.

    I heard a lot of issues that this device can't read files larger than fat32 (4gb) which is a problem with some apps.

    I heard the mi box fixes this however and Nvidia shield and works with NTfs and exfat

    Anyone have input?
