The December update has completely destroyed mobile signal on (at least) the European Pixel 6 for everyone. Google hasn't commented on the issue and they haven't even paused the rollout.

After the December update was installed into the Pixel 6 in Europe, the reception strength has been completely destroyed for all of us. I have 2 friends with the Pixel 6 and the both have the same issue, and you can see here in the Google issue tracker and in some Reddit posts that hundreds of users claim to be affected by this problem:

https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/210484323 (please star the issue so that Google is aware of it btw)

    https://www.reddit.com/r/GooglePixel/comments/rg7fx1/poor_reception_since_the_december_update_pixel_6/

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Pixel6/comments/rg38bo/new_update_reception_is_worse/

This isn't just the signal being "slightly worse" or something. The reception is now completely useless. I used to have 3 bars inside my apartment, now I get 0 and sometimes it straight up disconnects. On the street I used to have full bars and now I have 1, sometimes 0. Mobile data is super unstable and barely works now. Calling also works like shit.

This also isn't 5G or 4G specific. It seems to happen with all mobile reception in general.

This is horrible and the fact that Google hasn't even commented on it is worrying.

This needs to be addressed with a hotfix NOW. There is no way we can just hold out like this until the January update. This phone is now useless unless connected to a wifi network. The only solution is to downgrade to the November update which is unacceptable.

PS: I've seen some reports that users in Canada and the US may also be affected (moreso Canada than the US) but Europe is where 100% of the people seem to be affected so I'm focusing on that. But feel free to chip in if you're facing the same issue in Canada or the US.
