Onn. Streaming Stick - Pandora zoomed in Posted: 09 Oct 2021 06:29 AM PDT I bought the Onn. Streaming Stick from Walmart. All apps and the OS have been updated, but Pandora appears "zoomed in". I can only see the top left 25-30% of the screen. I have uninstalled/reinstalled Pandora, and tried a factory reset too. Has anyone seen this, or know of a work around? [link] [comments]
realme 4K smart google tv stick Posted: 09 Oct 2021 07:27 AM PDT Hi Guys, I am from India and currently using Chromecast with Google TV here. I have imported it from US as its not official available here hence many features aren't available here like "For you" section. Now, Google TV is coming to India officially by a 3rd party company's stick which is realme 4k google tv stick. My question is if the Google TV is now coming to India then can we have the full features in our already bought CCwGTV with an upgrade or something? Do you guys think that this can happen? Posted: 09 Oct 2021 04:04 AM PDT The physical remote has its led light pulsating. As far as I know, the only way to fix it is to re-pair it. But for that it requires me to make use of the android tv remote app to navigate to the settings in my Google tv. (Few months back had the same issue and fixed it that way). For some reasons now the app doesn't seem to connect/discover my Android tv/s in the same network. Is there any alternative solution to this? It's killing me really. I'm in Germany. I have a suspicion it's related to Google's development of the google tv remote App. Anybody with any insights into this? [link] [comments]
Live Channel-integrated apps does not work on Android 10? Posted: 09 Oct 2021 03:37 AM PDT Greetings! I've just bought a new Sony Android TV (the J series) which comes with Android 10 pre-installed. I tried to install TVirl but the problem occurred with the link between TVirl and the default TV app (com.android.tv): It does not show anything about live streaming or live channels. There are just analog and digital options.. Live channels app is somehow not available in the Play store. Is anyone having the same problem? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Oct 2021 10:27 PM PDT We just got our Android TV. We only use it for Netflix, Hulu, and some Youtube and besides some occasional buffering suffer no problems when in use. Android and Alexa assistants turned off, we don't chromecast to it. Almost every day, usually when we're sleeping, the TV will scream at max volume "Something went wrong, please try again in a few seconds". Is there any way to figure out what's causing this to stop it? Can we force the TV off instead of it just being in sleep mode? Do we need to just set the volume to zero EVERY TIME we're done using the TV? [link] [comments]

Android TV Remote iOS app alternative Posted: 08 Oct 2021 12:44 PM PDT After Google finally released a newly updated android tv remote for android phones, the iOS "android tv remote" app stopped working for me. It no longer detects my Chromecast devices even though my iPhone and Chromecasts are on the same network. I heard Google will eventually implement their new mobile remote into the Google home app for iPhone users. But in the meantime what is an android tv remote app for iPhones that works? Not getting true surround through ARC port of Vu Premium Android Posted: 08 Oct 2021 06:20 PM PDT I recently got a Pioneer VSX-534 AVR. I have a Vu Premium Android 50" 4K TV. I run Kodi on the TV to play media from my NAS. Yesterday when I connected the surround speakers, I discovered that my TV doesn't have a passthrough option for audio and the available options don't play surround sound correctly. When I play surround channel sounds, they come of the front left and right speakers as well, overpowering the surround speakers. Just to be sure that it was the TV, I played the same content on my NUC connected directly to my AVR and it played just fine. Anyone know if it's at all possible to get surround sound from this TV? Sometimes have to start casting twice to work Posted: 08 Oct 2021 02:02 PM PDT I have a Chromecast with Google TV (what a mouthful) and when I want to cast something to the TV, like Netflix or Youtube, I usually have to do it at least two times. The first time sometimes just doesn't work, or it only plays the audio, and then I have to stop it and start casting it a second time for the video to show up. Does anyone else have this problem, or know how to fix it? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Oct 2021 05:40 PM PDT Thanks to a helpful forum member here I just installed Aptoide.TV and was finally able to load a version Prime Video. I see that there are a ton of other apps available for installation but I don't know what, if anything, I should install. Does anyone have any recommendations about which 'must have' apps I should install on this box? If it means anything, I plan on installing an OTG cable so I can use USB storage and other peripherals; I have at least two of them floating around somewhere but I haven't found either one yet...
