Sunday Rant/Rage (Oct 10 2021) - Your weekly complaint thread! Posted: 10 Oct 2021 05:00 AM PDT Note 1. Join our IRC and Telegram chat-rooms This weekly Sunday thread is for you to let off some steam and speak out about whatever complaint you might have about:
Rules 1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer. 2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user's issue, please leave a comment but be sure it's constructive! We do not want any flame-wars. 3) Be respectful of other's opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is "wrong" you don't have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. Disagree politely, and move on. [link] [comments] | ||

Which phone that you've owned/tried has your favorite camera? Posted: 10 Oct 2021 02:20 PM PDT It might seem silly, like most would think that obviously their newest phone is their favorite, but this wasn't the case for me. I had a Oneplus 7 pro and the camera was phenomenal. Took great looking photos regardless of the situation, lighting, settings. Some of my shots, even night shots, rivaled the quality of a higher end point-and-shoot camera. Now I use a Galaxy S20+, and surprisingly I'm constantly disappointed. Good quality only comes from very well lit settings, the zoom can get so noisy it looks like a flip phone took the picture. The camera smudges a lot easier. I find myself lugging my DSLR around the house instead of settling for phone pictures. It's been over a year and I'm still half tempted just to go back to my old phone. To be fair, the video is much better on the S20+, but 95% of my gallery will be pictures, not video. My next phone will certainly be a Oneplus regardless of what phone camera reviewers say online about how "amazing" the S22 or whatever will be. What was your favorite camera? Least favorite?
