Google is planning on removing a few of their Customizable Emojis on Gboard Posted: 26 Sep 2021 08:22 AM PDT Can we PLEASE not remove Minis from Gboard? They are wonderfully hand-drawn and super charming. I legitimately love using these emojis with friends. They're cute and makes your messages that much more personal. And let's face it, THESE look much better than the abominations that are Bitmoji. Please, Google, hear us. Please do not remove Minis. At the very least, give us some rationale? Are they being phased out because of Emoji Kitchen? The two can coexist. Sincerely, A concerned fan of the adorable Minis. [link] [comments] | ||
Something is wrong with the Android OS Posted: 26 Sep 2021 12:24 PM PDT Hello! Why is that people like me who only use smartphones for basic stuff (voice calls, email, casual internet, few apps like tv show tracker etc..) need to buy 400€ smartphone just to have anything close to smooth experience from a non-chinese phone? It is ridiculous. All low range smartphones are lagging garbage and I don't think it's the hardware. Every year new chipsets CPUs and other stuffs is developed all of them faster than its predessor but the OS itself always fucking lagging, hanging for a sec when you just NAVIGATING IN ITS MENUS. All of them are garbage. Is it really a big deal just to build the OS less demanding for basic stuff? Google, you really need to learn from the Apple. Their latest OS runs smoothly even on an iphone released 5 years ago.... Feels like good android experience is only for the rich (haha even the top level smartphones can lag). I just want a non-chinese smartphone with security updates and smooth enought when I use it for reading an email for low price. Why would I pay premium stuff if I don't use? Just give me choice. Yeah, you need to build an OS what supports that kind of user demand. Don't point your finger on the smartphone manufactures, your OS runs on them. Users will hate android, not the smartphone. And they are right. [link] [comments] |
