Posted: 19 Sep 2021 03:23 AM PDT I want to know whether "android tvs with Dolby Atmos + eARC port offerings" can process TrueHD lossless Dolby Atmos on there own(I'm not talking abt DD+) when a 4k remux movie is played through HDD via tvs USB port(2.0/3.0) or do I need sheild. I don't if I can post a link of such tvs in posts but for example consider mi tv 5x or others. Note: In not talking about TVs standalone speaker. Thank you!!! [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Sep 2021 11:09 PM PDT Just got a new TV. Currently just using wifi for streaming, no devices connected and not connected to cable. Every 5-10 minutes while watching something it disconnects from whatever I'm watching and I get a notice about "no inputs" connected. How can I fix this? Edit: When it does this something saying "demo app" also briefly flashes on screen. [link] [comments]
Mi TV Stick not receiving update Posted: 18 Sep 2021 10:51 AM PDT Just got myself a Mi TV Stick, but it's still on the October 2020 patch with build 832. I've seen some posts about this thing getting updates, but it keeps saying I already have the latest version. I live in the Netherlands but have the region set to Germany as there is no option for Netherlands, not sure if that has to do with it [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Sep 2021 09:33 PM PDT Hi, i'm new to Android Tv's. Anyone knows how to move the screen? I mean, in phones you slide with your fingers, but what you do with remote control? Most of my apps work without sliding, but I downloaded HBO Max and it really needs to slide. Thanks for your help [link] [comments]
Mi Box S (Android 9) star working WiFi and BT Posted: 18 Sep 2021 10:24 AM PDT I received Mi Box today, and right after initiate process it automatically restart (without questions) and install update. WTF? So I don't know is it problem in new update or not. PROBLEM: After ≈5-10 min WiFi and BT stop working at all. Luckily I enabled CEC control. WiFi toggle button is off and can't be changed (not disableb but return back). Factory reset not resolve the problem. So I switch to WiFi 2GHz and looks like it is sollution. (I try 5GHz on Apple Time Capsule and on Mikrotik) And KP related to problem, I think: [link] [comments]

Beware resetting the Sheild TV Pro back to factory! Posted: 18 Sep 2021 09:17 AM PDT This morning I reset my shield TV back to factory setting via the sheild settings UI. At the time, it was running the latest shield experience. To my horror, this restored old launcher UI (I've grown to really like the modern google TV launcher). I checked to see if there are any shield experience updates. Shield says it was up to date. WTF. The built in Plex client also reverted back to its old UI (this was resolved by updating Plex) Back onto getting back the google TV launcher. I followed the instructions here: https://www.howtogeek.com/693761/how-to-get-the-google-tv-ui-on-android-tv-devices-right-now/ I ran all the steps up until the ADB commands (ADB not needed for my shield 2017 pro it seems), then I rebooted my shield. Once it rebooted, the new google TV launcher kicked in by default. I'm hoping Nvidia will resolve this in a future update. Restoring the Google TV launcher on a factory shield reset is less than intuitive. [link] [comments] |
