| GoogleTV Launcher Sideload: All Apps are Crashing Posted: 23 Sep 2021 07:49 AM PDT So about 4 months ago I successfully sideloaded the GoogleTV Launcher onto my laggy Hisense Android TV. Up until yesterday I have had absolutely no issues whatsoever and enjoyed the experience that GoogleTV affords me. Then all of a sudden yesterday out of the blue all my apps started crashing constantly, with Google Play Services being the primary one that keeps crashing. It has gotten to the point where literally every app (including HMDI sources!) are crashing and making the TV unusable in any capacity. I have tried to factory reset but it appears as though that didn't even go through (Almost as if the OS prevented from happening) and if I am too slow every time I unplug and replug in the tv it prevents me from even reaching device preferences. I have tried to connect to the TV via ADB so that I can reset back to the default launcher but it appears to not even recognize my laptop (Will keep troubleshooting this) to connect over tcpip. I can't seem to have found anyone online who has encountered this issue so I was hoping someone hear had any thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||

Go to Smart Tube Next, search for exactly the same thing, it doesn't find it. It's not like it doesn't find anything. It can find answers to lots of searches. But some it totally fails on. | Screen issues chromecast with android tv Posted: 23 Sep 2021 01:53 AM PDT Since yesterday the screen on my chromecast seems grey-ish. I tried to change some stuff in the settings like change the dynamic range from always dolby vision to match content and that seemed to help, but unfortunately its still not like it should be. Whenever i start a show on lets say Netflix, the moment the show starts the colors will go back to this grey-ish look. I tried to unplug the chromecast and put it in another hdmi port but its the same, also tried to turn it off and on and also did a factory reset but still nothing helps. I dont have this issue with other devices when i connect them to my tv. Does anybody else have this issue or knows how to solve this ? [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 23 Sep 2021 03:25 AM PDT I still don't know what has been updated, but my Wi-Fi problem seems to have been solved. and you can find your current version number in your Settings - Device Preferences - About - Product Information - Software Version. This updated version is V8-T615T01-LF1V072. All screen sizes are universal update files. I updated the previous version to V8-T615T01-LF1V061, what's the version of you guys now? It takes 5-20 minutes to reboot when you finish your update (it will take longer if you install too many applications). Please wait patiently and don't disconnect your power. Is it possible to get one of these boxes pre-setup with all live Spanish channels? Basic I am looking for away to get the Spanish channels for herself and our son. | Posted: 22 Sep 2021 10:24 AM PDT Hi. I bought a new ST 42" android 9 tv and i have an issue. When i have an app opened, and when i press the home button, the app closes itself and i need to open it again. This also blocks opening multiple apps at the same time unlike android box where you can open as many apps as you want. Is there anything i can do or android tv's are all like this?
