Swear words in password app for Google Play Store Posted: 25 Aug 2021 06:16 AM PDT Hey there, I've developed an open-source password analyzer called "Pazzword". I wanted to publish it now, but I realised that my password ranking, which additionally lists the 200 most common passwords of 2020, contains passwords like "fuckyou1", which I would call swear words, even though I only list passwords. Am I allowed to publish this app? And if I am, do I have to add an age restriction? What regions are included on the Play Store when I choose the Netherlands? Posted: 25 Aug 2021 05:39 AM PDT This may be an odd questions, but I can't find the answer anywhere. I have an app that is for Dutch speaking people. I can only find the Netherlands and Curaçao as regions there, not the other carribic islands that are part of the country. Maybe because they are spelled diffierently or grouped together under a certain name, or maybe they are included with the region the Netherlands? Google Play says release is at 100%, update metrics tell a different story... Posted: 25 Aug 2021 06:25 AM PDT Has anyone experienced this? We released at 100% distribution and one week later we are still only at ~10% of our users updated. When users go to the app store listing they don't see the update until they uninstall and then go back to the Play Store listing. Very frustrating since all of our previous releases hit almost 100% distribution the same day. Spikes in the images are prior releases, tiny blip on the right is the release on the 18th. External Storage differences Posted: 24 Aug 2021 08:39 AM PDT I am getting confused about the real differences of the external storage in android. Under Storage, there are 3 folders which are: a. 0000-0000 (sometimes, it does not exist. I'm assuming this is related to sdcard) b. emulated (i can access this via getExternalFilesDir) c. self If I am correct with my assumption that the 0000-0000 is the real sdcard, mountable, then what are the folders "sdcard" and "mnt/sdcard"?
