    I believe SmartTubeNext (blue "S" app icon) is the successor to what I previously used SmartYouTubeTv (red "S" icon).

    Anyways as of this morning the SmartTubeNext isn't playing videos. Everything loads up fine, you can search etc, but when clicking to play a video it just stays black.

    Anyone have input?

    Youtube crashes while watching live TV

    In my Mi TV 4X, the video gets crashed and pixelated while watching youtube live videos.

    Anyone has faced this issue before and is there any solution for that?

    I wasn't able to use the USB stick and boot the android PI 9, I'm waiting for my male to male USB cable to try to flash the customer image from aidansrom

    How to change YouTube recommendations on Chromecast with Google TV

    Hi,

    I have two YouTube accounts both under one email, the default account and a brand account which I use daily. This brand account has all my history playlist etc.

    The YouTube app on my Google TV is login to the correct account and shows the correct recommendations, however the FOR YOU tab on my Google TV shows recommendations for the default account which I never use.

    Will it be possible to change the FOR YOU recommendation to the recommendations from the brand account?

    Make APPS Run in 4K on Android TV instead of 1080p. Is there a ADB Command to make this happen ?

    So i have a sony android TV. And all of the apps are forced to run in 1080p resolution/interface. Is there a way to run them in 4K via abd command or something. And if there is what would be the way to revert back to default incase something breaks.

    TV is 55 inch 4K Sony Android TV KD-55AF8

    Hey. So I installed the Google TV Launcher into my Android TV (Xiaomi Mi Box S). Everything works fine, except the "Home" Tab. It says Loading Error. Unable to load Home. I tried a vpn, but it doesn't work either, because I can't even sideload the VPN app. Any solutions to resolve this please :))

    Don't turn that option OFF if apps on your Android TV box or television crash, it sends a crash report to the Play Store Console that will help developers to fix the issue

    Is AppleTV+ on the GoogleTV Chromecast and why can't I find it?

    I'm seriously considering the Google TV Chromecast, and every Google search confirms AppleTV+ is currently available but I don't see it shown in the features page in the Google Store and I can't find it in the Play store (searching from a Pixelbook). Any help pointing it out or confirming would be appreciated just so I can be sure. Thank you!

    Button Mapper breaks Volume Buttons (+/–). Has anyone found a solution?

    After turning Button Mapper on, volume button (+/–) long press does not work. Pressing it only increases volume by single increments.

    Even if Mapper is only given accessibility permissions and NO button is yet modified, this still happens. So I think this might be a deeper problem.

    Same problem discussed before here.

    Upcoming set-top boxes with HDMI 2.1?

    Are there any boxes with Hdmi 2.1 & gigabit ethernet out there right now?
    I'd like to nvidia gamestream 4k @ 120hz to my LG oled.

    I'm currently able to do 4k @ 90hz HDR with the homebrew Moonlight TV app. I'm also able to do 4k 120hz over WI-FI on the Samsung Tab S7+.

    I think the TV processor isn't strong enough & am hoping to find something more powerful to get me to the 120hz mark.
