Your device.
Your carrier.

Rules

1) Please do not target any individuals or try to name/shame any individual. If you hate Google/Samsung/HTC etc. for one thing that is fine, but do not be rude to an individual app developer.

2) If you have a suggestion to solve another user's issue, please leave a comment but be sure it's constructive! We do not want any flame-wars.

3) Be respectful of other's opinions. Even if you feel that somebody is "wrong" you don't have to go out of your way to prove them wrong. Disagree politely, and move on.

Rumor: Google to use AMD GPU IP

It is from Taiwan.

It is said that it is right to overwhelm competitors in peak performance in actual performance tests entering Samsung Exynos.

AMD is currently testing mobile with the same specifications, and it shows similar frame performance.

However, the throttling is stronger than expected, so after the first test, the performance drops by about 20%, and after the second test, the performance drops by about 30%.

The important thing is that this 30% performance drop is higher than that of ARM's latest Mali series. Even next year's next-generation Mali lineup is slightly lower than the high-end peak performance...

It is worthwhile for Samsung to abandon its own GPU and adopt AMD architecture.

It is said that Samsung has gained confidence in this and is negotiating a contract for an AMD mRDNA successor architecture as well.

And it looks like Google will be registered as a new customer. Rumor has it that an additional customer that has recently ended their contract is Google.
