| Sharp Aquos (Aquos-TVU19A) Input Annoyance Posted: 05 Jun 2021 07:52 AM PDT Love the TV, generally speaking, but the way it handles inputs may drive me mad. I use a Harmony 650 remote to control the tv and the various devices attached to it. Unfortunately, because of how the TV handles inputs, getting the remote's power on sequences to work properly has been a mess. The tv, generally, turns back on to the last input it was using. But not always. Sometimes it turns back on to the Android TV Home Screen. And at least as far as I've been able to find, there isn't a a way to tell the tv to go to a specific input with a single key press, you have to navigate the input pop up menu. Though even that can be odd. Like, if you're on the Hime Screen and hit the input button, instead of bringing up the input sidebar, it sometimes goes back to the last input you were watching. Again, not always though. Any suggestions? I've tried using Launch On Boot to have the TV go to the Live TV by default on wake/boot, since I can program the remote to sequence from a standard place, but even that is not consistent (sometimes it takes too long to boot to the Live TV input, or it doesn't go properly). I heard that Chromecast doesn't play videos from external hard drive without many extra wires and other things (USB spliter with power adapter) All I want is a thing to use with Kodi and Hard Drive and my country dosn't have many good options besides Chromecast and other Bootlegs boxes I live in Bahrain by the way if you ask. thanks Edit : I order Mi Box S, I hope it better, it have Kodi right?
