"Contains ads" should give more information (based on players feedback). It is frustrating that players cannot see the difference between a game with very few ads and a game that is essentially ads with a bit of gameplay in between

Is there a way to play the old dos game called deathrally? Absolutely loved it as a kid and would like to revisit for some nostalgia. Thanks!

The Final Fantasy Battle Royale game is... actually really fun.

    Posted: 01 Jun 2021 08:54 PM PDT

So, the beta for FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRST SOLDIER just launched, and I've spent about 3 hours playing it. I was very skeptical at first, but ended up being pleasantly surprised. It's still clearly rough around the edges, but I have no doubts that the technical issues will be ironed out by release. It sets itself apart from other BR games with:

    • Spells (such as healing and thunder) as equippable items
    • A level-up system in which your spells and stats become stronger with more kills (this is huge and affects the pacing of the game significantly)
    • Several different movement mechanics, such as wall-climbing and dashing
    • A more fully fleshed out melee combat system
    • NPC mobs throughout the map
    • 4 unique classes offering significantly different abilities and playstyles
    • The ability to more or less fully choose where to drop in
    • A surprising level of polish and smoothness for a beta

The level-up mechanic is a really cool addition that completely changes how the game plays; you're rewarded for playing aggressively and stacking up kills, or at least farming mobs.

IMO, the game really needs a gyroscope function. It has "auto-shoot" which I don't generally care for, but I can see how this in combination with the spell and movement systems could be useful.

Overall, it's a really cool blend of RPG and BR that I think will push the (IMO very stale) genre forward. The beta goes for the rest of the week, I'd recommend trying it out if you can. I'm hoping this becomes popular after launch!

Lots of talk about UFOs recently, but no hard proof. Well, here it is! Right here in Mushroom Wars 2. Might be a bit smaller than you thought, but it counts!

[DEV]What if the definitive vampire movie of the 2020s winds up being based on a solo-developed mobile game with an advertising budget of this post...I'm not saying it'll happen...I'm not saying it might happen...In fact, if more than my mom and sister download it, I'd break down and blubber.

Hey I've got a lot of hoops video games need to pass through, please help me find one that makes it through all of them.

    Posted: 02 Jun 2021 08:30 AM PDT

I'm out here with intense pickiness, trying to find a video game for the phone please help. I've got a list of pretty strict requirements here: 1) it should work without an internet connection. Side modes can require it, but the main gameplay should be playable offline. 2)it should be an RPG in the literal sense of the term. A game I can sink myself into is currently missing from my library, and that's a slot I'd like filled 3) ideally, it should be playable in vertical mode, because that's how I normally hold my phone, but horizontal is fine also. 4) it'd shouldn't require permissions it doesn't need. 5) ideally, it shouldn't require inputs on a strict time limit. 6) it'd be cool if it was centered around using a phone within the app, but this is not required

    Share Google Play Pass

    Posted: 02 Jun 2021 07:24 AM PDT

I would like to subscribe to Google Play Pass for one year, but I don't want to pay 30€, so I was wonder if it's anyone interested in paying the subscription with me so it's less money for each person.

I have 4 free spaces in my family group, so each person would only need to pay 7.5€ (I'm from Europe).

I don't know if that's it's allowed by Google but it would be awesome to do that.

If anyone it's interested, please leave a comment.
