| Accessibility isn't accessible Posted: 17 Mar 2021 05:02 AM PDT Hey all, I've got an android TV recently and this morning I came to the conclusion that it's time to change some buttons on my remote. I've installed the Button Mapper app, but every time I open it, I just get the message that I'd need to enable the accessibility options for the app. Well, that's the problem. I go to settings -> device preferences and there is the entry "Accessibility". However, every time I click on "Accessibility", the settings window is closed. Is there anything I can do? The TV is a CHiQ U50H7A, running 'version 9'. I don't know how to get the full version name. I already tried restarting, including pulling the power plug. [link] [comments] | ||
| Controlling volume with Samsung remote on Chromecast with Google TV? Posted: 17 Mar 2021 01:05 AM PDT Hi, I just got a Samsung QLED TV, and I want to be able to control the volume on my Chromecast with Google TV with my Samsung remote. As it is right now, the Samsung remote controls the TV volume. I have the option to disable volume control on the Chromecast, this locks the volume at 100%. But I want the ability to control volume when casting to this device without using the remote. Is it possible to enable volume control on the device itself, when the source of the Chromecast is selected? Thank you! [link] [comments] | ||

| Just got an Android TV for the first time. What are some of the “MUST HAVE” apps? Posted: 16 Mar 2021 07:55 PM PDT I just got a Sony X900H the other day. It's got an amazing picture and works fantastically with the PS5. I'm not much of an Android guy (I have mostly Apple devices). What are some apps for an Android TV that I'm missing out on? Why would I want to have this app? Thanks everyone in advance. [link] [comments] | ||

| Default menu after casting on Sony TV Posted: 16 Mar 2021 09:26 PM PDT Hello! Got a Sony x900f TV and before when I stopped casting from my laptop the TV used to go back on my TV menu/default hdmi. Now after some updates I guess it goes back to the home menu. Any way to change that back? Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||
| Anyone having issues with Smart YouTube TV? Posted: 16 Mar 2021 08:37 PM PDT I use the Pro Main launcher. When I attempt to watch a video, nothing plays. It gets stuck on "loading". If I switch the launcher to Lite Main, videos play fine. Anyone else see this? [link] [comments] | ||

| Echo/Reverb on nvidia shield when casting youtube and twitch Posted: 16 Mar 2021 12:14 PM PDT I get an echo/reverb effect when casting twitch and youtube in my nvidia shield. Maybe it's a bug when playing stereo through a 5.1 surround sound system? It didn't use to do this. I saw other posts about it, but no replies. [link] [comments] | ||
| Mibox S corrupting my SD Cards? Posted: 16 Mar 2021 09:48 AM PDT Hi Folks, I recently bought an Orico H3TS-U2 USB/Cardreader Combo and I have a PQI 32gb SD Card. Anytime I play anything on VLC the Mibox seems to corrupt it and I always have to reformat it on the PC just to set it right. I've tried this with another kingston card and it's the same deal. Playing video files from the SD card while on the PC works so I don't think it's the Card reader. Any clues on what it could be? [link] [comments] | ||
| bose qc35 ii won't pair with Google tv Posted: 16 Mar 2021 11:38 AM PDT It used to work fine. It connects with other devices no problem. I've tried resetting the pairing list and even factory resetting the Google tv. What's even stranger is that it does working for a few days and then started working again. Once it's paired it seems to reconnect no problem. But when I reset the pairing (because I have more than 2 devices) it hasn't worked for a week now. [link] [comments] | ||
