    As per title really.

    I want to hook it up to a little 8" screen in our music room for a nice Cover Art show, with the optical connection going to the amplifier for audio.

    Hey,

    I am playing movies from my PC on my Android TV. I am looking for a player that enables me to play subtitles in my movie collection (browsing them from the folder without having to rename them).

    I have tried so far: 1. Kodi - did not detect the subtitle files in the folders 2. Kodi spin off SPMC - same as above 3. Archos - did not find my media library 4. VLC - subtitles are are located and recognized fine but lag up the movie when played. 5. Plex and Emby - require me to set up a server on my PC, and if I recall correctly, one of them requires an account which made me wary of trying them; googling also resulted in them having similar subtitle issues as above 5. mx player - did not locate my library 6. BS Player, CnX Media player were not available on my device

    So far, I'm out of ideas - is there any player I may have missed that would have a simple way of browsing subtitles like VLC but not have them lag up the video when played.

    As the title says, I've searched here and didn't find anything so posting to ask.

    My wife's BT headset works as expected, but mine just don't pass the audio over. The volume slider shows the BT icon but the sound still comes out of the soundbar.

    I've already tried a factory reset on the headset to try a reconnect

    Any ideas? ... Thanks.

    Is there a way to play media on my TV and have its audio cast to my laptop?

    The bluetooth headphones that I have are extremely cheap and uncomfortable and barely last for 2 hours so I was wondering, could I cast TV audio to my laptop where I could listen to it using my main headphones that have a USB connection instead.

    The stuff I'll be watching would be on Kodi.

    HiSense H6510G, Chromecast w/Google TV, and DolbyVision

    Hi! I just got a new 65" H6510G, and I'm trying to use a Chromecast w/Google TV, which is connected to HDMI1. When I use the TV's built-in apps, I get DolbyVision from Netflix, HBO Max, and so on, and when scrolling through e.g. Netflix, programming that has DV available shows as such.

    However, when I switch to the CCwGTV, items only show as "HDR," and I do not get DolbyVision displayed on the TV. I have verified that the CCwGTV does support DolbyVision.

    Has anyone used a similar combination? If so, did you have to do anything to get DV working?

    Google Assistant voice command for home screen?

    I'm trying to set up a Google routine that turns on my Android TV and changes the input to the home screen, but I can't figure out what the correct wording is. If I use the built-in Google button on my remote and say, "home screen", it works. But if I try to do something similar from a Google Home or my phone, it doesn't work. Any thoughts?

    Best Android TV emulator for Windows

    I've been emulating Android TV in Android Studio on my laptop connected to my bedroom TV. It runs fine, but Android Studio emulator seems to be focused on developers, so I wanted to know if there's another emulator or Android TV image more focused on users. Any ideas?

    WWE Network in Canada

    I have a US WWE Network account, but because I live in Canada, my new Chromecast with GoogleTV geolocks me out of downloading it. Any way around this? I have access to a VPN as well.
